2- Minute Tuesday Tip – Caring for Your Classic Ink Pads

2-Minute Tuesday Tips by Connie Stewart - www.SimplySimpleStamping.com Hey Everyone!  It’s time for another 2-Minute Tuesday Tip.

Today I am going to share with you some tips for caring for your Classic Ink Pads.  Keeping your ink pads well inked and clean is as important as washing your hands after going to the bathroom.  Well, okay, not THAT important but it’s important nonetheless.

Keeping the plastic case of your ink pads will keep ink off your fingers and when you keep ink off your fingers you keep inky finger prints off your cardstock and when you keep inky fingerprints off your cardstock your cards look more professional and when your cards look more professional your mother-in-law is impressed by your art and when your mother-in-law is impressed by your art she bakes you a cake.  The End.

I am also going to share with you a tip on how to re-ink your ink pads and how to store and organize your ink refills.

Let’s get going with today’s 2-Minute (okay, okay, 3 minute) Tuesday Tip video.

Ooooooh Connie! A box to hold your re-inkers by color family?? Awesome idea!! Thanks for sharing!

Fabulous tips, as always Connie. I keep a package of un scented baby wipes but, when the area I need to clean is very small, like your smudged ink pad, I think the little alcohol swabs are much better. I will get me some for sure.
Thank you for always thinking of new ways to increase our joy of stamping and help us stretch our craft dollars to the max.

So simple but soooo necessary! Thanks for the info and for the reminder to always purchase the re-inkers for our stamp pads.

Connie…..I am a new stamper…..in fact, I’m a “pree-mie” in that I have yet to enjoy my first stamping session, so I am premature in even leaving a comment. My BFF in Naperville has inspired me and my “crafty” daughter and has helped us order a starter kit. She has generously shared some of her “extras” with us. She recommended your website and I am inspired by your creativity. You make it look “do-able”. I look forward to your videos and helpful hints. Katie in Arkansas.

Oh Katie! How fun for you!!! You are just going to love paper crafting. It’s such an “instant gratification” type of craft. I don’t have days, weeks, or months to complete a project. With stamping, I can finish a project in 10 minutes! It’s great! And yes, it IS do-able. Can’t wait to see what you create!

  5. Thanks for the shout out Connie! 🙂 hugs!
