2-Minute Tuesday Tip – How to Clean the Silicone Craft Sheet

One of my most popular 2-minute tips was using the Silicone Craft Sheet for adhering detailed die cuts and adhering vellum.  I love using the Silicone Craft Sheet and it seems you guys do to because I have had a lot of enquires  about how to clean the glue off of it.  Yep, it does build up over time so how do you remove the excess glue?  Replace the Craft Sheet?  Heavens NO!  Let me show you how to clean it.  Check out today’s 2-Minute Tuesday Tip!

I hope you enjoyed today’s tip.  I can’t even tell you how much I LOVE and use my Silicone Craft Sheet.  It keeps my grid paper or my desk clear of adhesive boogers. I hate getting adhesive all over the place.  The silicone mat keeps it out of my way.

Thanks Connie. I had googled this very question a few weeks ago but did not come up with a satisfactory idea. I tried hot water thinking it would melt the glue but that did not work. I’m headed to the kitchen and some cold water!! I learn so much from your tips!

I use hand sanitizer and don’t have to leave my desk to go to the kitchen sink and that seems to work really well also.
