Hey everyone!  I am SO excited to be BACK in the USA and back on Simply Simple Stamping sharing with you!  My trip to Thailand was incredible but it’s so good to be HOME.  I hope you guys enjoyed the Stamp-Cation I had for you last week.  It was a lot of fun to put that together for you but today is Tuesday and I am ready to share a 2-Minute Tuesday tip video with you!

Today I have some tips on how to use the Label Me Pretty bundle, more importantly, the Pretty Label punch.  I want to share how to use the punch to create several different layers.  5 different layers makes this punch a 5-in1 punch!

I do love this bundle.  It was the first thing I purchased from the new catalog.

Made it home from Thailand safe and sound late on Sunday.  Whew.  What an amazing trip this was!  Stampin’ Up really knows how to spoil us and show us places we never dreamed of going.  Thailand was never on my bucket list but it should have been!  It was such a breathtaking place!  White, sandy beaches, emerald green water tipped with white caps.  Words can’t describe it so how about a little 20 seconds of heaven.

My favorite thing about this beach was that just off to the left was a massage tent.  Each day we got a 1-hour massage with the sounds of the crashing waves around us.  It was amazing!  A 1-hour massage was about 400 baht (this is the currency used in Thailand).  It’s about $15 US dollars.  Now you see why we went there every day!

We had some great adventures while we were there!  Rich is more adventurous than I am but I did my best to step off the resort and see what Thailand had to offer.  I felt more comfortable staying in the “Stampin’ Up bubble” though.

One of my favorite excursions was to the Blue Elephant Restaurant & Cooking School.  Chef Molly taught us how to create 5 different INCREDIBLE Thai dishes.

Just look at all this food!  We could have fed all of you with everything we cooked!  The Red Curry with Chicken & Pineapple was my favorite.  We are making that again VERY soon.

One thing you might not know about me is that I don’t cook.  Well, I can, sort of, I guess.  I just don’t like to and I’m not that adventurous when I cook.  It was a lot of fun to learn how to cook some great Thai food though.

Don’t we look cute in our matching aprons?

The fruit in Thailand was incredible!  I tried everything!  Some I liked, others not so much, but hey, when it Thailand!

This was my view for breakfast each morning.  Is that stunning or what?

And look at this sunset from the patio outside our room.  We spent every evening enjoying those beautiful sunsets.  Life is good!

This picture (and this moment) was a favorite of mine.  I was kissed and hugged by a baby elephant!  Oh my gosh, he was the CUTEST thing ever!  Can you see his fuzzy head?  I am dog person. That’s about it for me as far as animals go.  To be this close and personal with such an amazing animal was such a treat for me that I will never forget.  This elephant was a family pet.  Can you imagine an elephant as a PET?  I think I will stick to dogs, thanks.

The downfall to a wonderful trip like this is, of course, the travel.  It was about 30 hours of travel each way and let me tell you what…. that is HARD!  There was a 12-hour time difference while we were there so when it was noon in Thailand, it was midnight back home.  The jet lag I am experiencing is brutal.  I have been wide awake since 3am.  Was it worth it?  OH YEAH! Definitely!

So, I am going to keep working on getting myself back into the Central time zone.  My brain feels “fuzzy” (that is the only word I can use to describe it).  My eyes feel fuzzy, my head feels light.  Jet lag is not fun but just pulling up these photos make me realize that is was SO worth it!

Thanks for letting me share a little piece of my trip.  🙂
