Mailing hand stamped cards with raised embellishments can be tricky. We don’t want the embellishments destroyed by the postal machines. No, we want our beautiful stamped art to arrive in pristine condition, right? Today’s 2-Minute Tuesday Tip Video will make that a reality. Check it out!

Was that easy or what? If you make up some of these protectors in advance and have them ready, it won’t even be an effort!
Confession… I am heading out the door for my morning walk and I shot this video before I had coffee. If you watch the video, you’ll see why I clarify that. (I meant to say to use scrap cardstock, not crap cardstock – ugh!) I am now putting a note on my door to drink coffee before shooting.
Here are some of the Embossing Folders I would recommend. Check out the sale on several of them 30% to 50% off!
Well, I just finished Week 3 of my weight loss journey. I’m down 7 lbs, I am reaching my 10,000 step goal every day! Wahoo!!! I walk 3-4 miles every day with Mr. Awesome. It’s been great weather and SO nice to get outside! Speaking of weather, today is going to be bumpy. As you may know, I live in Moore, Oklahoma – home of the all too famous “Tornado Alley”. Today is setting itself up to be one of those days. Schools are closed or are sending kids home early and we are staying close to our televisions to keep up to date. You can actually feel the electricity in the air on days like this. So, if you could, say a prayer for Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas as we prepare for the weather tonight?
Heading out of town tomorrow for a Girls trip. My mom, my sister, and I are heading to Iowa to visit family and friends for a few days. You guys are going to think I travel all the time. I really don’t. We had planned this trip back in September but my Mom broke her shoulder so we had to postpone until the Spring so tomorrow morning, we’re off! Looking forward to seeing family I haven’t seen in years. One of them is a cousin and she is a customer of mine. When she started ordering, she had no idea we were related and somehow the pieces all got put together. How cool is that? Can’t wait to see Denise. I think the last time we saw each other I was probably about 8 years old. Let’s see, do the math… that was just 10 years ago. LOL Well, I was never good at math anyway.
Hope everyone has a great Tuesday! I am going to try to post so stay tuned for more stamping awesomeness!

Super tip Connie, I’m always afraid that my cards will get smashed in transit, this is also a great way to use your scraps and, if the recipient of your card is another card maker, she can easily use this piece of already embossed card stock to send her cards to either you or someone else.
This will be a great way to recycle and save.
Thank you for always looking for ideas and sharing them with us.
Big Hugs,
Maria.
How do you do it??? Every week I look forward to your tips. This is another good one!
Great tip, but I also love the card. Are you going to make a 2-minute Tuesday Tip Video of that as well? Please!!
Well, that card is not something that can be made in 2 minutes. I used the Circle of Spring stamp set on this one.
Connie, what a fabulous tip. Thanks so much for sharing.
I just started following you! Celia Reusch Cawthon suggested you to me so I could understand what Flash Cards were all about. I had posted a card to my FB page and she added a post “And it’s a flash card! Win win” . . . so here I am!
I LOVE your 2-Minute Tuesday Tip videos!! I also love your up beat, perky personality as well! So happy to be a new follower! 🙂
So happy to have you here Tonya! Celia is a DEAR friend and a wonderful stamper too!
Love your 2 minute tips, flash cards and everything about your website. Have been following a few years now. Thanks for everything you do and all your inspirations. Glad to hear your mom is doing better.
Love this tip! Often I leave off embellishments when I am going to be mailing a card. Now I have much more confidence in sending it out in the mail! Can’t wait to see you, your Mom and Sheila. I am beyond excited!!! And yes I was a mere teenager when I saw you last… about 10 years ago. And I AM good with math!
OMG! How simple and perfect! Now if I could go back about 20 years and get back all the cards I sent and put an embossed sheet of paper in them this would be a perfect world. GREAT IDEA!!!!!!
This was a great tip and the slip made me laugh! You really made my morning! ?
Yeah, I was giggling about it too. 🙂
How are you tracking your steps??? A pedometer or a Fit Bit???
I love my Jawbone UP2. It’s under $50 and I’ve owned Jawbone fitness trackers since they first came out. I’m in love with them and they are pretty too. Not as sporty looking as the FitBit.
Fabulous, quick, easy and economical tip…..and so much nicer looking that using a paper towel or even those thin foam sheets that are sort of costly.
What a great tip! I’m gonna use this one, for sure!! Thanks.
I have been using a piece of plain cardstock in my envelope for protection. Embossing the piece is even better. Thanks for the tip.
