A Jump Start on Christmas

Christmas Tag a Bag Gift Boxes - www.SimplySimpleStamping.com

I have been thinking a lot about gift packaging.  As I am out and about on Pinterest, I noticed that the trend of traditional “gift bags” is slowly fading and pretty packages tied up and dressed up is the new hot trend.

Have you seen these fabulous Tag a Bag Gift Boxes in our catalog?  Check out page 158.  These boxes are SO much better than any gift bag, I promise you that!  There is a VERY THICK acetate sleeve that goes over each box and the box itself is really heavy duty as well.  And get this… less than $1.00 a piece!!!  You get 8 of them for only $6.95!

You can fill these beauties up with anything.  I chose chocolate (duh!)

The new Festive Flurry Bundle is amazing (see page 30 of the Holiday catalog).  This snowflake can be used as an ornament too!

I know that Christmas can be super busy and very stressful.  Why not make your life a little easier with ALL the great gift packaging available through Stampin’ Up?  They’ve done most of the work.  You just make it uniquely YOU.  Whether it’s snowflakes or a simple belly band and a tag, make your gifts stand out under the tree this year!

    Awesome idea!

  2. The top snowflake looks like the Silver Foil Paper, but it also looks embossed. What did you use to make that?

  3. Connie says:

Good eye Susan! Yes, it is the silver foil and I embossed it with the Northern Flurry Embossing folder. That silver foil embosses beautifully!

Great. The gift bag trend is old news *just* when I will need to put most all my gifts in them after I heal from shoulder surgery. Lol! Unless those boxes and acetate sleeves could be assembled one-handed? Hmm, might be a lot of possibilities there.

Thats it. Everybody gets chocolate for Christmas! Simple and brilliant. But of course that is why I come here: you give me such great ideas. Beautiful project again, Connie. Thank you for the inspiration!

Actually, Molly, you could put these together one handed! There is no adhesive needed! Now, to make the snowflake, well, you’ll need someone to run that Big Shot for you. 🙂

Wishing a speedy recover from your surgery!!! Hugs!
