I RARELY post personal things on my blog but this was something I just had to share with my friends.  These are pictures of my wonderful husband, Rich, and I.  Last year, like so many other people, we felt it was time to rid ourselves of some excess weight.  We really liked the concept behind Weight Watchers online program so we thought we would give it a try.  WOW!!!  I can’t even begin to tell you what an amazing program it is!!!  These picture say it all.  Rich lost 90 lbs and I lost almost 50 lbs.  Wanna know the crazy part?  We loved every minute of it!

Weight loss is hard no matter what kind of plan you’re on but Weight Watchers PointsPlus system was just easy to stick with.  People ask us all the time if we are always hungry.  Heck NO!  Or they ask if we ever get to eat pizza again or if we had to cut out bread.  NOPE!  The minute you tell me what I “can’t” eat, I will crave nothing but those foods.  Did you have to live on celery sticks and boiled chicken?  Hahaha!  No way!  I wouldn’t have lasted a week!  What we did learn was that we were eating WAY too much and so we SLOWLY worked ourselves to eating meals that were properly proportioned but we didn’t starve in order to do that.  We did eat a lot more fruits and veggies as we learned to balance out our meals.

If you’re New Year’s Resolution this year is to learn a healthy lifestyle and shed some weight, I hope you will look into what Weight Watchers has to offer.  They always offer sign up specials after the first of the year.  We are not “meeting” people and knew that attending meetings wouldn’t fit our schedule so we did the online program only.  If you have a smartphone, there is an app that will track everything for you. Wahoo!
