Chocolate Bunnies, Coconut Bunnies, and Orange Chick Chick Chickies!

Today I am going to share with you a project that I shared last year.  With Easter a little over a month away, I thought it would be fun to bring back one of my ALL TIME favorite projects.  My cupcake Chocolate Bunny was a huge hit at our church Easter Egg hunt and my stamp club girls loved it too.

It was so much fun to make and I even have pulled the video out of the vault for you as well!

You can also made the project with pink coconut cupcakes (bleck…. but they are cute so I had to use them.  My kids loved it!)   My friend Jann McCollum took it one step further and created this adorable chick using orange cupcakes.

Now…I feel it is my duty to warn you…leftover cupcakes are dangerous!  Well, except the coconut ones but the chocolate and orange cupcakes can’t just SIT THERE and be nice.  No, they have to TAUNT you and beg you to consume them!  Evil evil little cupcakes.  You have no choice but to give into them.  Oh well, pour yourself a big cup of coffee or a glass of milk and dive in.  Why not?

Man am I hungry now!!!  Ugh.  Let me go eat my Fiber One cereal and pretend it tastes like chocolate. <sigh>  Oh who am I kidding.

Oh Connie, you just crack me up! I so enjoy reading your posts, and value your clever ideas. Now about coconut cupcakes ~ YUM! I know, I know, there are a lot of people out there that just don’t like coconut. But that is the advantage for me! I get them ALL! Yippee! That is not to say that I don’t just love, love, love the chocolate and orange too, but you can ship me your extra coconut cupcakes anytime. Have a wonderful weekend..I am soooo anxious to see your finished room! I have just one little area of a room that I am quickly outgrowing. Going to try and convince my hubby to re-do our basement where I used to have a wonderful sewing area. Then we got married – HA! Now he has the basement for his video editing equipment and his hobbies. But there is enough room for us to share…
    Smiles, Michelle

Actually Michelle, I ADORE coconut! It’s one my favorite things in the world. It’s that marshmallow stuff under the coconut that I can’t stand. I think it’s the texture that I really dislike. I’m weird that way. I am actually not even a big fan of S’Mores either. I guess marshmallows and I just don’t get along.

That is what most people don’t like about the “snowballs”. The marshmallow. Wish I didn’t like it..I used to take plain marshmallows and “knead” them between my fingers until they were really gooey and then eat them. When I was a kid!!! Would never do it now – too embarrasing :).
