How do you come up with all of these great ideas. Thanks so much.

    • Connie says:

You know ,Theresa, this was one of those “3am, wake up with an idea” kind of things. I absolutely LOVE to make boxes and when I saw the Simply Scored tool I thought that just moving over one notch would do it. NOPE! The lid was WAY too big so I knew I needed to come up with something that would push the cardstock out just a hair. Window sheets and cardstock to the rescue!! I hope you get a chance to make one and see how easy it is to make your own boxes!!

Thanks soooooo much for sharing! I’m always looking for treat boxes to make for my granddaughter for school. This is really a help!

Thank you so much Connie, You have made my life so much easier. Sharing is all what it is about and I so appreciate the fact that you took the time to do a video for us. I hope I meet you sometime at one of the conventions. Stampin Hugs, Joanie

  18. Becky Jo says:

Thanks, Connie! I love this idea. I do have a box making board where you score the box on one side and the lid on the opposite side. It makes great boxes and the only problem I’ve found is you have to make your boxes/lids in half inch increments and you sometimes end up with a box/lid a little bigger than you need. Now I can make any size box I like. I’ll be using this for sure! Love those cute little boxes you make! Big Hugs!!

  21. carolyn says:

great idea but I don’t have a stampin up board– so I will figure it out–thanks a bunch

    • Connie says:

If you need to order one Carolyn, you can do that from my website. I absolutely LOVE my scoring board! It’s one of the tools I use the most and is always on my counter.

  22. nannyjkm says:

Thank you Connie….I have just found this trick of making the shim….so much easier when getting box lids to fit!

  23. Kim says:

I have a Martha Stewart scoreboard. Can you tell me the measurements to make the shim to fit that please! This shim will help me so much and save a lot of paper and frustration in the future. Please give me the measurements for the shim to fit my scoreboard so I can get busy making boxes with lids that fit!!

    • Connie says:

I’m sorry I can’t help you with that. I don’t have a Martha Stewart board and I have no clue what the measurements would be.

  24. clate says:

    That sounded kinda mean.

    • Connie says:

Oh goodness, no. I didn’t mean it in a mean way. I was being sincere. I don’t have that board so I don’t know the measurements. I am sorry if it came off in a mean way. Sometimes it’s hard to read someone’s intent in a comment. I do apologize if it was taken wrong.
