Yesterday I shared that I was prepared to tackle and clean my stamp room. Did I do what I set out to do? Sort of. Just like this quote says, I got distracted. Yep, I got distracted by a pretty orange box that was sitting on my desk.
You guessed it. I had to play with my Paper Pumpkin kit that came in the mail last week.
I typically save my Paper Pumpkins for camping but this one just seemed to call my name. Your craft supplies talk to you too, right?
This month’s kit had these adorable candy test tubes inside and they were just so much fun! I had to create a couple of fun Halloween treats for my girls.
I filled one with chocolate covered espresso beans. They were on my desk as a help to pump me up to clean up. Well…..distraction. They fit perfectly in these test tubes. So, what would you have done? You would STOP cleaning and start creating, right? Of course you would!
I filled another tube with apple cider mix for Ginny. Ginny is an apple freak! Apples and pumpkin anything, it’s her favorite. Fall is her favorite time of year too so I know she will love this treat.
This month’s kit wasn’t just for Halloween either. I love that Stampin’ Up recognizes that not everyone is “into” Halloween and so this month’s kit also had Fall sunflowers and pumpkins. Sunflower seeds were so cute with the sunflower. These would be so cute on the Thanksgiving table, don’t you think? I love how it turned out!
If you haven’t tried Paper Pumpkin, or it’s been a long time since you subscribed, I just want to encourage you to give it a try. This month’s kit included:
- 9-piece stamp set
- 16 test tubes and cork stoppers
- Old Olive Ink Spot
- 48 pre-printed and die cut tags
- 18 Halloween banners
- 18 Fall banners
- 5 yards of Linen thread
- Free Shipping
And I got ALL of that for only $20! It is SUCH a great deal!! Want it try it for less than $20? Check out the deal below!
Because I am such a HUGE fan of Paper Pumpkin, I have something extra special for my subscribers because my subscribers ROCK my world! When you subscribe through me you also get a dozen bonus tutorials! Check out the sneak peek I have for this month. See? It’s not just for Halloween. This Test Tube Bath Salt project is a great stocking stuff for Christmas.
If you do the math, $20 for ALL of that PLUS a dozen tutorials, it’s really a great way to invest in your crafting. And like I said, I love to take my Paper Pumpkin kits camping but they are great for any travel. The box is small and everything you need is right there in the box. You might need a pair of scissors to cut some ribbon, but that’s about the only additional thing I’ve ever needed.
Oh, and did I mention REFILL kits? Yeah, you can make MORE of these by purchasing the refill kits. $8 and you get 16 test tubes and all the tags, linen thread, and adhesive. GREAT deal!!! That’s 50 cents a test tube! You have to be a subscriber to order these though so sign up today!
