I really like clean and simple too. This one just made my day because it was so quick and easy to make but boy, it sure is pretty! We as paper crafters do get excited when we make a card that turns out better than we had imagined, don’t we?!

I just had a thought Connie, why don’t you do a video on your pink and black craft room. I think I like that idea

    • Connie says:

But then i would have to CLEAN it! Oh the horror of you guys seeing how messy I am!!! How about I post pictures. I took some pictures the last time I cleaned it. I think that was in 1973. Kidding.

Hi Connie! I just discovered your flash card series- what a genius idea!!!! I watched your organizing flash cards video and I want to make a box for flash cards. can you recommend how many sheets of card stock to start with? I was thinking of maybe 3 sheets of card stock- 2 for card bases and 1 for the smaller pieces.

    • Connie says:

Hi Kathy! So glad you have found inspiration here! What I personally do is take 3 sheets of every color cardstock I have. I score one at 4 1/4″, one at 5 1/2″. I cut those down to card bases (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and 11″ x 4 1/4″). I take the remaining piece and cut it down to 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ pieces (you’ll have 4 quarter sheets). I cut two of them into Flash Cards (4 1/4″ x 2 3/4″) and the other two into Flash Cards 2.0 (2 1/8″ x 5 1/2″)

Then cut your white and vanilla cardstock into the layering pieces. I would cut several of those! 🙂

I hope that helps! Happy stamping!
