FLASH CARD 2.0 - Painted Petals Amazingly Amazing Card - video tutorial at www.SimplySimpleStamping.com Yesterday I shared with you some great samples using the PAINTED PETALS stamp set.  It truly is an amazing stamp set with that built-in watercolor look.

Today I am excited to share with you my FLASH CARD 2.0 card created with Painted Petals.  It’s so super fast and fun!
FLASH CARD 2.0 - Painted Petals Amazingly Amazing Card - video tutorial at www.SimplySimpleStamping.com FLASH CARD 2.0 - Painted Petals Amazingly Amazing Card - video tutorial at www.SimplySimpleStamping.com It’s hard to see in the photos but I even added a little bling to my flowers.  I missed stamping the inside of the card on the video but as you can see, I just stamped the flowers down in the bottom right corner.  Can’t leave the inside of a card naked, now can I?

Let me share today’s video…

After I finished the card, I thought it would be fun to create a stepped-up version of the card.  Check out my NOW or WOW Painted Petals card!
Now or WOW - a new series by Connie Stewart - www.SimplySimpleStamping.com I simply cut a tea lace doily in half and attached it to the side of the Flash Card.  Then I used the leftovers (the piece that I tore off) to punched out three flowers using the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and added a little Gold Glitz Dazzling Details to the center.  Still a very easy card if you wanted to turn it into a WOW!  I think I love the WOW more.  🙂

  1. Love this Flash Card Connie, really, it couldn’t be finished faster, awesome!!
What a great tip for tearing both pieces of CS at the same time to give you just the perfect edge there!!! And of course, the bling, love the bling with the Dazzling Diamonds, looks just so pretty.
Thank you so much for sharing.

  2. I got my stamp set and it is all in one case and also the flowers are all in different pieces and so are the leaves. Yours are all together. What is going on do you know?

    • Connie says:

You must have the photopolymer set. Do me a favor….Go ahead and use this one for now. It’s fine. 🙂 If you find you really want those little leaves all on one stamp, contact the demonstrator you purchased it from and Stampin’ Up will happily replace it for you. You might find you like it this way better.

The benefit is that you have is that you won’t have to fight those little leaves that are supposed to all be on one stamp.

Like I said, try it. You might prefer it this way but if not, it is not a problem AT ALL to have Stampin’ Up send you a new one.

  3. Cathy says:

Connie you are amazing! Love this card.

  4. artgranny says:

Beautiful Connie….running off to make some! Thanks for the idea!!

  5. Lois says:

Oh Connie I love your color combo. So pretty together. So glad you did a card with this stamp set. Love it!

  6. Sondra Macdonald says:

I have read that clear and polymer stamps are both the same. You have them listed separately and differently priced. What is the difference with the ones you are selling?

    • Connie says:

Clear (or Clear Mount) are red rubber stamps with the vinyl sticker that goes on the back of the stamp. These stamps are also ‘firm’ stamps. Photopolymer are completely clear and have a lot of flexibility to them. They are less expensive. Some of our stamps are designed to only be available in photopolymer, typically because they are designed as ‘two-step stamps’. You do use them the same way in the sense that they both are adhered to the clear blocks.

      I hope that helps!

  7. Connie, this card is wonderful. Plus I love the stepped up version, too. Thanks for sharing.
