FLASH CARD – Christmas BLING – Video No. 18

Who doesn’t love a little bling, especially at Christmas?  I just LOVE the magical look of today’s Flash Card!  Might need your sunglasses for this one!

I showcased the Snow Swirled stamp set and silver glimmer paper in this simple Flash Card.  I hope you enjoy it and find inspiration from it!

Connie, I have just recently discovered your website…and I LOVE IT!! Your flashcards are just what I needed! They are elegant, beautiful and just fun to do. I am playing around with my own stamps, but these are so inspirational. Thanks so much for sharing your techniques.

Connie thank you so much for thinking up the Flash Card template. I’m a demonstrator as well and this has simplified my stamping and also helped me reduce the amount of scrap paper I had been accumulating. My customers and I LOVE how easy it is to create beautiful cards “in a flash”. I’ve used your template to create my own designs, and they are so easy to duplicate. Thanks for sharing. <3

SPARKLE:) Super card. One thing I have done with my dies as my eyes are getting old….I have taken a Roseart ColorSharp Metallics pen (comes in a set found mine at JoAnn’s)and with the silver one using the brush end have “drawn” around the cutting edges of each “piece” on the die. Go right over the cut. It shows up beautifully and has not worn off and didn’t come off on any paper:) Really helps me.

Hi Connie! Such fabulous ideas! Thank you for sharing them. I am a demonstrator who has been inactive for awhile and you have provided the inspiration and techniques for me to get back to it.

I’m wondering if anyone else is having problems with the snowflake die. On mine the medium snowflake is so close to the large one that it cuts too close to use as a mat. Is anyone else having this issue? If so, is there a solution.

Thanks so much for all of your fabulous videos!

  12. Jimi, not sure why it’s cutting into the mat part of your cardsotck. Try moving it so that cardstock is hanging off the edge of the die. I hope that helps!

Thanks for the quick reply Connie. I think SU! must have more than one lot of dies. I watched the video several times, just knowing it had to be me, but it’s not. No matte how I place it, the large snowflake is too close. 🙁 What a bummer! I ended up using SU!’s old snowflake punch instead. I so love your ideas! Thanks so much!
