FLASH CARD – Santa’s Hat Christmas Card – Video No. 74

Flash Cards by Connie Stewart - www.SimplySimpleStamping.com

Happy Monday everyone!  If you’re a procrastastamper like me, you might be just a tad behind in your Christmas cards for this year.  I do it to myself every single year.  Why?  I don’t know.  I think I try to do too many projects for the holidays and suddenly it’s Christmas Eve and there ya go…. I’m late again.

This card is so fast that I might just make up a few extras so I am READY if I need to mail out some in a hurry.

I absolutely LOVE that Gold Glimmer ribbon.  It SHIIIIIINES like golden sparkles and it makes this card amazing in person.

You know, I don’t think I told you guys what happened to me a couple weeks ago.  I auditioned for our local community theatre’s production of “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” and lo and behold, I landed the role of “Big Mama”.  I was SO excited!  First of all, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” is a classic.  Second, I actually played the role of “Mae” 25 years ago.  How cool is it to be in the show again 25 years later?

Want a fun throwback photo?  This was me in the show WAAAAAY back then.  Man, I loved that dress!

Third, I’m excited to start rehearsal again.  I LOVE going to rehearsal. There’s just something so wonderful about being in someone else’s shoes for a couple of hours.  Rehearsals start tonight so if you hear me talking in a deep Mississippi accent in my videos in the upcoming couple of months, you’ll know why.  It’s been a couple of years since I was in a show and I am super excited to be back on stage.  There aren’t a lot of shows for people my age these days (and just so you know, I am WAY too young to play Big Mama and they are going to age me).

Well, that’s it for me today.  I hope that you guys had a fabulous weekend and I look forward to being here tomorrow for a 2-Minute Tuesday Tip video!
