FLASH CARD – Wedding Cake – Video No. 20

Today’s Flash Card is so pretty and quick!  I tend to be heading out for the wedding when I realize I don’t have a card made.  Good thing I came up with this idea for a quick wedding card!  Turn those 2 little pieces of cardstock into a cake WITH icing!  I hope you will give this sweet card a try.  I think it would also make a great birthday cake too.  I will have to try that one soon as well.  Just change up the colors and I’m set!  I think I might do the birthday cake with the scallop punch though.

Connie, I am an avid follower of your wonderful flash cards. I must apologise for taking so long to leave you a big thank you for all this wonderful inspiration.

  4. Its beautiful. The process of decorating the card, with the scallop border and the further decoration is amazing! I am not pointing anything, just wanna tell that if the blue hearts as the cake toppers could be replaced with cherry red ones, would it be better?? Just a query.. Waiting for your reply, as m gonna make this card in my cousin’s wedding the next month.

I definitely see what you’re saying. The reason I stuck with blue is because the idea behind Flash Cards is that you don’t have to pull out any additional cardstock to create these cards. I encourage you to create the cards to suit you! That’s what creativity is all about! Have fun!
