Fresh from the Garden!

I love being a Stampin‘ Up demonstrator! Why? Because I have access to a “demonstrator only” website with SO many fabulous ideas!!! This idea was posted by Laura Haffke and I just knew I had to create my own! Now, I DON’T garden at all! I kill all things green! I am attempting (for the 5th year in a row) to grow basil and cilantro. Let’s hope for the best but even if my “garden doesn’t grow”, it sure will look good!

These garden stakes were created from aluminum roof flashing and the Big Shot! I used the Scallop Circle die and the Scallop Circle #2 die to create the base. The butterflies were created with the Beautiful Butterflies dies. Oh, and how about all that embossing! That was done with Impressions Folders – Perfect Polka Dots and Elegant Bouquet!

The colored butterflies are simply our raw vinyl (found on page 205 of our big catalog). So many colors to choose from!

So, are you dying to know what I used for the stake itself? Rather than shopping online, I wandered around the hardware store for awhile when I stumbled on THIS – a sign post! You know those plastic “for sale” or “garage sale” signs? Well, they have these great posts that hold the signs… but they also do a great job at holding my butterflies! And they are under $1.00 each so it’s quite the bargain!

Are you a member of Stamp Club? Lucky you!!! You will be creating this project in July!!! Not a member of Stamp Club? Well, we need to talk! You are really missing out on learning so many new techniques and ideas each month!! Join us! Email me for all the details!

These are adorable! Is that flashing hard to work with? Do magnets stick to it? I am glad I am a stamp club member! I have some questions about being a demonstrator. I will call you this week!
