Ugh. Taxes. Anyone else out there HATE this time of year? I put off working taxes as long as I possibly can but guys, I can’t put it off any longer. Mr. Awesome and I are going out of town this weekend for my birthday (Yay! Another cabin in the woods!), next weekend is Easter, and the next weekend is…well, the deadline so guess what I get to do this week?
This means that the stamp room must be converted into Tax Central for the week. Whaaaa! I’m so sad BUT I have got all my stampin’ peeps covered. I am going to be sharing some of my favorite Easter projects from the past this week. I’m calling it IRS Week for I’d Rather STAMP!
This was one of my most popular projects. This is the ‘updated’ version that I created last year. Is she sweet or what? And are you ready for the BEST part about today’s basket? It uses just ONE SHEET of Whisper White cardstock. In the video, I will show you how to cut your cardstock so you can make the whole thing from just one sheet. Love that!
Let me share today’s IRS video…
If you are unable to view the video, CLICK HERE to view it online.
Here are some visuals to make things easier. Note: The Itty Bitty Punch Pack is no longer available but I know a lot of you have it. If you don’t, the circles in the Owl Punch will work too.
Here is a list of the supplies I used on my Easter Basket. It’s ‘punch heavy’ but I know that many of you have most of these punches. If you don’t, look around at your punches and see if you can improvise! If not, order by clicking a photo below to order what you need. There’s still time to get the supplies you need by Easter!
I hope that you guys like today’s IRS video! Thank you SO MUCH for allowing me this week off to tackle these darn things. Between personal taxes, business taxes, and now Christina’s first time filing taxes, it’s going to be a busy week. As I said, I have some fun things planned for you this week so stay tuned!
Those Bunny Baakets are absolutely precious (&don’t require the berry basket die I do not have – yay!); plan to try it after taxes get done. (Yuk!) I like your acronym for IRS – “I’d Rather Stamp”! Boy, is that the truth!
Absolutely adorable ideas!
such a cute basket. Love it. Thanks for sharing, tonguetiediness and all.
Such a cute idea Connie….thanks bunches!!
Happy birthday. Have a fun trip
Love this – should have ordered the Oval Collection Framelits last year – they don’t exist any longer…:(
They still exist! Item #129381 – set of 7 for $26.95 (usa)
Oops! I guess I spoke too soon. They are currently unavailable due to the strike in the west coast ports. They are sitting in a container in the ocean at the moment. This means that Stampin’ Up had to turn off the number until the Framelits arrive. Be patient! They will be back but unfortunately probably not in time for this project. Drat! Had I known this I would have found another project to share. I hate sharing projects that products aren’t available for.
Hi Connie, love your basket and such fun! Thank you for all your videos and your enthusiastic love of stamping. Blessings and smiles.
Cute Idea, Thanks for sharing. I really enjoy your instructional video along with visual layouts that make it so much easier to create your projects.
Happy Birthday, and have a fun weekend on your little get away. Hope you get your taxes done as fast as possible. How about creating a video on a fast way to do taxes and call it “Taxes in a Flash” using just 2 pieces of paper instead of what the IRS requires! All of our lives would be so much simpler.
I hope your return results in a refund!
Oh my heavens, you have to warn me before you say stuff like that! I just about spewed coffee all over the computer! LOL!!! Taxes in a Flash with just 2 little pieces of paper! I am rolling over here. Thanks for the laugh this morning!
Your ideas and videos are amazing but on the eater bunny basket am I the only one who saw the score pal while Connie spoke, I couldn’t see how anything was cut or put together!
Alison, that is so strange. Did the video lock up somehow? I totally make the project on the video so there is a lot more than just the scoring. So strange.
