My friend Kim is hosting a BIRTHDAY PARTY themed workshop on March 1st and I have had a great time planning the projects I am going to share with all her friends!

I love using Stampin‘ Up products for any kind of party but who doesn’t LOVE birthday parties?!

Let’s start at the top – the birthday invitations! The invites set the tone for the party right away and this simple pocket card fits the bill! I have 2 versions – a quickie version and a stepped up version. Kim’s daughter wanted a monkey party so I used the Fox & Friends stamp set. Isn’t it too cute?

Next, we have to think about food and drinks… so why not make this fast and easy silverware packet to match? Or, you could even STAMP on the napkins themselves? OR, what about running the paper napkin through your Impressions Folders on your Big Shot machine? WOW!!!

I used our fabulous mini glue dots to adhere the scallop punch on the straw so they can sip in style! For the cupcakes, why pay your local bakery for custom treats… MAKE YOUR OWN! This sweet little monkey is sitting on a sandwich of 2 scallop circle punches and a toothpick (StampinDimensionals in between). How easy is that? Are you wondering about my stamped cookie???? I’ll bet you are! I iced a cookie with can frosting, stamped on a piece of tissue paper and gently tapped it onto the frosting. The tissue paper just sort of disappears! Now, the kids will want to remove that when they eat it, but it’s no different than those cakes you buy with computer images on them. Same principle… but you made it yourself and saved BIG BUCKS!

You can’t send those high on sugar kids home without more sugar? I resurrected the bag-a-lope and made a fast and easy treat bag for the kids to take home. Cute wheeled tissue paper and all!

You will be the HIT of the party for sure! I know KIM will be the hit of her workshops next week! I can’t wait to share these ideas with her friends!
