Mach was Draus (translation You Can Create It!)

(My apologies…. I said this would post on Saturday but due to the holiday madness, a few of the ladies were still working on their projects.) Go Create - International Blog Hop - www.SimplySimpleStamping.com
Welcome to MACH WAS DRAUS!  What does it mean?  In German it means “You Can Create It” and that is just what I’m going to do.

I am so excited to be chosen as the USA representative for this fabulous international blog hop!

Let me explain how it works….”You Can Create It” is the brain child of German demonstrators Anja Luft and Heike Fallwickl, the concept is simple (and you know I like simple).  Each month I receive an envelope with a few simple supplies in it.  The challenge is to create something with these pieces only.  I LOVE a good challenge!  We all receive the same package so by going through the blog hop, you’re going to see lots of creative ideas.

There are lots of international demonstrators who are participating and I am the only USA demonstrator.  How fun is that?

This month, here is what I received:

  • 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ Pear Pizzazz cardstock
  • 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ Soft Sky cardstock
  • 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ Early Espresso cardstock
  • 24″ Early Espresso Seam Binding ribbon
  • 4″ x 4″ Canvas Creations

Here is what I came up with.  It’s a new take on a project I created many years ago but I love how it turned out!

I hope that during the holidays you have some time to go check out the blogs of my fellow international demonstrators.  Most of them aren’t in English BUT stamping needs no words except “Ooohhhhh” and “Aaahhhhh”.  Am I right?  And remember, if you really need to read something, google translate is amazing.  Just copy and paste and BOOM there is your English translation.

Have fun hopping!  Thanks for being here today!  Before I go, I want to share the Weekly Deals that end today.  You guys know I am all about the SALE and saving you money (and time).

Aww, you are so sweet! I can’t wait to share the video in January….which will be here before you know it so I had better get to work and get the video made. 🙂

Can I just say WOW!! These are all great but I really love that message center. Creative and practical. Looks awesome on that Tiffany blue wall!!

Thank you Denise. I made one of these YEARS ago and I must say, it’s always been one of my favorite projects. I just update the calendar every year. It was nice to update the colors and the design a little bit. I think you’re going to love how easy this project is to put together. 🙂

Hi Connie! What an honor to be the only US representative of Mach was Draus. With your usual aplomb you take it in stride, ruminate on the options, then sprint to the finish with your project held high for all to see. Way to represent ~ you make me proud to be an American.

    Hi Connie:
What awesome cards and projects. And, what fun being able to participate. I’m glad we have you to represent the U.S. Awesome job and I love your project. Could you please tell me where you got the little calendars??? I would love to get some of these.
Thanks so much for sharing with us!

  5. Love all this projects but your message center is the best!!! I’ve been crazy busy this past few days, you know how it is, with last minute shopping, wrapping gifts, decorating, cooking…..come December 26th. I will have a little time to check out your International friend’s blogs, how fun that will be.
Merry Christmas Connie, to you and your beautiful family. May 2015 bring Joy, Peace, Health and Love to you and yours.
Thank you so much for all you do for us throughout the year, you are truly AMAZING!!!!!
PS. I have a little blog now, I’m still learning about posting on it, but come next year, I will be posting at least once a week. I hope you go and take a look at it, ok?

  6. I L.O.V.E. your “challenge” in using colors and making projects. My mind is spinning. THank you so very much for doing this! Please do more! Also appreciate the blog post references! Thank you again.
