I hope that you have enjoyed the MAKE IT IN MINUTES Stylized Birthday Mini Series. It was so much fun to create these cards using the Falling in Love Designer Paper and the Stylized Birthday stamp. I just had to finish this series with a great gift box to hold all your beautiful cards.
Let me share the final video in my series STYLIZED BIRTHDAY…
Here the measurements for the card gift box in case you missed them:
- Blushing Bride – 7 ½” x 11″ *
- Very Vanilla – 3″ x 3″
- Falling in Love Designer Series Paper – 1 ¾” x 12″
- Blushing Bride Satin Ribbon – small bow
* With the 7 ½” side at the top of the Simply Scored board, score at ¾” and 6 ¾”. Rotate so the 11″ side is at the top of your Simply Scored board and score at 2 ¼, 3″, 7 ½”, and 8 ¼”.

My Brush with Greatness – Everyone has stories of how they met someone famous. Well, last night I had a cool thing happen. Some of you may know that I am a Law & Order: SVU junkie. I LOVE this show. If there is a L&O marathon on, I am in heaven. My dream is to one day be on Law & Order. I don’t care if I just sit at a desk in the background. That would be good enough for me.
Anyway, Ginny watched last night’s episode with me, which she never does. She did this because her friend Dalton was going to be one it. He was in Mary Poppins and Disney Magic (the shows the girls did last summer). I thought to myself, “Aww, sweet. He is going to be an extra. A kid walking down the street or something.” Oh my gosh, I was so surprised when the opening credits popped up and HIS name was the first guest name on the list. Whhhhaaaaat? Yes, Dalton had a HUGE role in last night’s episode. He was amazing too! I should have known this sweet kid would be big one day. He was uber talented and just as sweet as can be. It was so much fun to watch and say, “I know him” and the girls to say, “We worked with him…. all summer!” And that is my brush with greatness.
I’m wrapping it up for today. Be sure to join me again tomorrow for a Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Weekend Challenge! Only two more sketches before the Weekend Challenge comes to a close.

This has been an awesome series of tutorials, Connie…and I absolutely love the results! You are the best!
Connie, I love all of this beautiful and easy to make cards, the sky is the limit as to what colors to choose from. I’m always looking for fast and fun gifts to give to my grandchildren’s teachers and coaches and this box to hold the cards is a winner.
Thank you for sharing.
Hugs,
Maria Rodriguez.
Hand made cards have always been a popular gift to give. People who get them are so excited to have them.
Beautiful card series. This box is the bomb for a great gift. Thanks so much for the videos and tutorials.
Hi Connie, love all things you make. My favourite thing is Gals gone wild weekend challenge, sure wish you would change your mind and keep doing it on Fridays. I also like to see what everyone posts as their master piece. Please think about it. Have a good day. Sherry
Sherry, I am going to sprinkle some sketches in my blog from time to time. Stay tuned!
I love your box and cards. I’m a big fan of L&O–SVU, also. Was Dalton the boy that testify against the rapist? He was good.
Yep, that was him! 🙂 He was good, wasn’t he? So cool!
Love Love Love these cards and the box! Thank you so much,
Where did you get the clear mount STYLIZED BIRTHDAY stamp all I could find is wood mount?
I converted it to a clear mount stamp. Here is a video on how to do that. https://youtu.be/4KvNJKZFUgo
Wow, thank you so much
So enjoyed your ideas on making the cards and this box to put them in. I think I might use “Just For You” on one of the bands for the box. You are such an inspiration to me. Thank you over and over.
My head is spinning with different ideas you could do with the cards and box too.
Oh what fun. Just finished the project to give my book club hostess today. Thanks for the inspiration and the how-to. You are the bomb, ConnieLove! Sandy
