Back in November I shared a video teaching you how to make 12 Christmas cards in a matter of minutes. As I was looking through some of my retiring Designer Paper, I came across my Sending Love paper stack. It was great paper and even though I used it mainly for Valentine’s Day, I came up with this idea on how to use it up…. in a non-Valentine way.
Talk about a great way to use up some Designer Paper!!!
I did add stars and heart punches to the cards but it tied the cards together so nicely.
What do you think? Fun, right?
Let me share the video I did on how to create the Christmas cards but you will see that you can easily convert them to my All Occasions cards pictured below.
Here the measurements to make 12 cards:

I hope you enjoyed my quick cards today. Any designer paper will work so I’m thinking why not create some different cards using other Designer Paper that needs a little extra love? It’s so easy with this layout!
Yesterday, Ginny’s Show Choir (you may remember them singing to you on Valentine’s Day) had Oklahoma State Choir Competition. She was excited to compete but 6 days before the competition they hit a brick wall. One of the other groups competing, a trio, discovers that one girl isn’t able to go so the choir teacher asked Ginny if she could quickly learn the words and the music. Challenge Accepted! I am so proud of how Ginny jumped in to help, otherwise the trio would have had to drop out. There was no way Ginny would let her friends do that.
I am happy to say that Show Choir received a 1 on their performance and the trio received a 2 (1 is the highest so they did really well). Congrats to these teens and their hard work! What a great day for them! I think celebratory ice cream might be necessary, don’t you?
Have a wonderful weekend everyone! I hope to see you back here on Monday!

Am I missing where you say what size of designer series paper you need for the 12 cards-and how many different patterns you used all together?
Sorry, Debby, I guess I left that off. I just added to the measurement list. 🙂
thanks–I probably could have figured it out with some trial and error. Such a great sketch and makes good use of those last pieces of dsp we love!!!
This is a great video!! Thank you for sharing it again. I can now put my paper too good use.
Yep, no more hoarding that paper. Time to create! Have fun Hazel!
