As Sale-a-Bration 2017 comes to an end on the 31st, I wanted to share a project created with one of the “add-on” stamps sets that Stampin’ Up made available last month. It’s called Make a Medallion. What a fabulous set!
My friend Judy shared this card with me and I wanted to share it with you guys too! I absolutely love it! It would make a great card for the guys too.
Isn’t that giant medallion just stunning? It looks like it would be hard to create this card with the 2 colors but it’s actually SUPER easy!
I have a great tutorial to share for today’s Make It Monday!
Now it’s YOUR turn to create! Want to work off your mobile device? Just take it to your stamp space and work from here. Click the picture to make it larger!
Would you rather save the document to your computer?
Can I make a recommendation? Create a file in your “Documents” on your computer and call it MAKE IT MONDAY so you can always find the downloads whenever you need them. Or, you can always search the Categories (left side bar) and click on Make It Monday. You will see all of them in one place.
Here’s what you’ll need to create the MAKE A MEDALLION card. Use what you have, order what you need. Just click a pic!

What a FUN and fabulous weekend we had! Mr. Awesome and I were supposed to do taxes…..but we got a little distracted. Oh wait, no, let’s just call it what it is… PROCRASTINATION. We found better and more fun things to do.
We wanted to wait until Spring to sell our old camper and over the weekend we sold it to a sweet, sweet family and we couldn’t be happier for them. It was kinda sad watching my camper drive away but I know this family will make some good memories in it. Now to get the new camper restocked and ready for the Spring. You guys know how much I love to go camping.
On Saturday night we celebrated a 60th birthday for a dear friend of ours and I somehow managed to get Mr. Awesome to dance with me. That is a rare thing and we had a lot of fun.
On Sunday we did some decorating to our patio as an early birthday present. Our deck really needed this makeover and the weather was so nice that we just couldn’t pass up the chance to get out in the sunshine.
Yes, those are fake plants. Sorry guys, but I kill anything that is green so fake is the way for me. I wish I had green thumb but the only time I have a green thumb is when I am stamping. These planters did fill some dead space on the patio and brightened things up though. I am very happy with how it looks (just need to get the power washer out to clean the deck).
Sunday night we had a small get-together at the house with some friends. Good food, great conversation, and a beautiful night on the patio. It was the perfect way to end Spring Break.
I hope that your weekend was wonderful as well! I am anxious to get into my stamp room and finish up the Make It in Minutes Stylized Birthday mini series for you. Be watching for that on Wednesday and Thursday. Tomorrow, I have a 2-Minute Tuesday Tip video for you. Join me then!
