I was playing around with the project for my May Stamp Club. I really wanted a “More Bang for your Buck” idea where my customers can create one thing but use the extras to create something else – kind of a Two for One deal.
Well, the first project I came up with was a “Make 3, Get 1 Free”! Only 3 sheets of cardstock to create 4 cards. Hmmm, now that’s a pretty good deal! I like the top picture best but I wanted to play around with both ideas – white cardstock on a colored cardstock base, and vise versa.
So easy! I simply cut the white cardstock into (4) 4″ x 5 1/4″ pieces. I stamped each one with a different color and different stamp (I used Circle Circus on my samples). I then cut each piece down to create the panels (no right or wrong size here but make sure you cut them all the same size).
Cut 2 more pieces of cardstock in half to create (4) card bases and adhere the panels. Run them through your favorite Impressions Folder, add a sentiment, and you’re done! 4 cards with only 3 pieces of cardstock!
I hope you like the idea! I will have a complete tutorial, along with 2 other projects, in April!
