Painted Blooms Greeting Cards Gift Set – Video Tutorial

I had a great time creating a video on the project that I share with you yesterday.  What a response I got from this project!  A shout out to Jann McCollom for sharing it with me over the weekend.

This bag holds (6) greeting cards and envelopes.  Let me share with you how to create (12) of these gifts using just (1) package of Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper.  Whether you save the cards to mail out when you need them OR make up the gift bags, it’s still a perfect project for an afternoon of paper crafting.

Let me share the video on how to cut the Designer Series Paper so you can get all the pieces you need to make (72) cards.

If you are unable to view the video, CLICK HERE to view it online.

Here are some measurements in case you missed them:

  • Cut the DSP to 10 ½” x 12″ – save the strips for belly bands
  • Cut these to 5 ¼” x 12″
  • Cut these to 5 ¼” x 4″
  • 11″ x 4 ¼” Whisper White – cut 4 ¼” x 2″
  • (6) Whisper White card bases – 8 ½” x 5 ½” – score at 4 ¼”

Here are some photos of the cards I created using the Four You stamp set and the Banner Blessings stamp set.  As you can see, you can use any sentiment and adhere them any direction you want!

Connie, those are ALL so pretty! I have that DSP & love it, but have been reluctant to cut it. I think I’ll order another pkg. then I won’t worry as much if I mess up with it. Your cards are perfect – thanks so much for sharing them!

These are really pretty. My mother is in a retirement home and this would make a great gift for her. Thank you so much for sharing all your videos. I am forever grateful.

  5. Kimberly says:

This is way too cool! Will this work with other dsp…like the birthday paper in the occasions catalog? Also did I hear you correctly that you used 6 pieces of dsp? If so if you used the entire package, you could bathe in your favorite paper! Oh but of course!!!!

    • Connie says:

Yes, I used 1 of each piece of DSP. If you do that you get 36 cards. If you use the entire package you will get 72 cards.

  6. Tiffany says:

I love all the bright colors and all those flowers make it feel like Spring is in the air. Great gift idea.

  7. Kathy P. says:

What a FANTASTIC gift card set! It will be the perfect birthday present for my Godmother. This DSP was not on my wish list, but I think you convinced me that it should be. LOL! Thanks so much for sharing your creativity!
