Paper Apple & Cherry Pie

Apple & Cherry Pie - created by Connie Stewart - www.SimplySimpleStamping.comWahoo!  I finally figured out how to make a paper PIE!  It became a quest after yesterday’s many disaster attempts.  They weren’t as hard as I thought the more I worked with it.   My version came from checking out different templates until I came up with a SIMPLE version.  I just can’t do 100 cuts and score lines and I HATE to fussy cut a printed template.

After I created the pie, I realized that what it was lacking was whipped cream.  It NEEDED whipped cream!  I created this faux whipped cream from a dinner napkin.  You may remember my video on it from this past summer.  You can watch it HERE.

Apple & Cherry Pie - created by Connie Stewart - www.SimplySimpleStamping.comI filled my cherry pie with cherry sours.  My apple pie has sour apple sours inside.  How fun is that?

Couldn’t you see 8 of these on a platter as thank you gifts for guests at Thanksgiving or at a Christmas party?  Cute Cute!

Apple & Cherry Pie - created by Connie Stewart - www.simplySimpleStamping.comI am going to work really hard to create a simple video for you so you can recreate this box yourself.  We are expecting an ice storm here later tonight so I plan to spend the day tomorrow in my stamp room gettin’ my crafty on!

Oh, but before I go… I made a BIG boo-boo when I posted my flyer for the big Stampin’ Up Holiday Sale.  I posted the one for Canada and their prices are higher than ours.  OOPS!  Thanks Julie for letting me know so I could correct that.

Remember, the sale runs through December 2nd.  It’s going to be a BUSY week next week so why not get your order in now?  Great deals await you!

Have a great Thursday everyone!
