Great trick! Now, what can be done when using your plates, with big shot, from keeping the cut marks on plates, going onto you paper project? I noticed my plates look like yours, all cut up. Any ideas? Thanks!

Connie, this is genius! I was taught my a Sizzix rep to do this with painters tape on the positives. I really like your method, it is much more economical ! The last time I bought a roll of painters tape, it cost me $8.00!

Can’t be frugal and use the contac paper I have at home already. 🙁 It is black. Makes a good chalkboard substitute but would do bubkis in this project. lol Thanks though, I’ll look for some pink contac paper.

  11. Finally got to the $ store for some shelf paper today. I just finished my dies & I love this idea. I even did the dies that are just one piece; all my dies are “fancied” up now. Thanks for a great idea.

I am not able to see the video on your blog. Was it removed?

    • Connie says:

Charlene, I’m not exactly sure what the problem is. It is showing up on my end. You might try re-booting your computer. It might be a glitch. Let’s hope that takes care of it. 😉
