Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Weekend Challenge

Stampin' Gals Gone Wild Weekend Challenge! Join me!
Hey everyone!  Happy FRIDAY!

I need to let you know that my blog is having a Monday and doesn’t seem to want to post correctly so I am hoping, praying, crossing my fingers, rubbing a rabbit’s foot, anything to make today’s post load correctly.  So glad it’s Friday so Mr. Awesome can work on it over the weekend.

I am going to make today’s post short and sweet since there is a chance it won’t post anyway.

I have a great sketch for you for this weekend!

This weekend’s sketch has SO many possibilities!

  • The panels can be Designer Paper, a punched image, or stamped!
  • The panels can be layers, cut into 3, 4, 5, etc.
  • The sentiment can go just about anywhere on this card – get creative!

So, your challenge is…..over the weekend create something with this layout, share your creations on the Facebook group, and enjoy some great feedback from other Wild Girls.  Our group of ‘wild’ stampers is now over 2,200 strong!

C’mon, you’re going to need some creative time this weekend!  Why not play along?

Are you part of the Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Facebook group?  If not, come join in on the fun and be inspired by stampers from all over the world!

Here is what I created for this Weekend’s Challenge…

I turned the sketch around for this one.  It’s a fun baby card created with the Zoo Babies stamp set.  It came together so quick and it’s just so sweet!  Perfect for a boy or girl.

This one is my favorite though.  I totally went off the grid on this one by using three panels instead of five.  Do you recognize it?  It’s the Washi Label,  I embossed them with the Stripes embossing folder to give it a ‘candle’ look.  The flames were made with the Bird Builder punch.  Yeppers, that’s the bird wing!  I just sponged the edges with Calypso Coral ink to make them pop.  I cut out ‘happy’ with the Hello You thinlits and added a few sequins.  It’s such a bright card and it really made my day.

I hope that you will play along with the sketch for this weekend.  We have a lot of fun sharing ideas on the Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Weekend Challenge Facebook group.  We only allow the sharing of Weekend Challenge projects and we would love for you to join.  There’s no chatter, just sharing, so don’t let anything stop you from being a part.  You can share OR just lurk and enjoy the creations that other stampers have made.

Okay, here I go… I’m about to hit the “publish” button.  I’m hoping this works!!!

Next week I will be back with video and a fun Blog Hop using some of the NEW products from our Holiday catalog.  I have heard from many of you that you have started getting your in the mail.  Yay!  If you placed an order through me in the last 6 months, you should be seeing one in your mailbox soon.  If yours hasn’t arrived yet, just hold tight.  It’s coming.  🙂  I am at the mercy of the post office.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Wish I could “lurk” at the cards others have done for your challenges. Yours are terrific, and I know I would get inspiration from the others also. However, I am not on Facebook. Is there any other way for me to see them?

No, unfortunately, there’s really not any other way to see them. If you’re uncomfortable being on Facebook, you might make your name something that no one would recognize – Car Doo, or something. Don’t accept any friend requests and don’t post anything. You should have no worries that way.
