I am going to share with you how to create these SWEET chocolate treat holders and I am doing with my Flash Card 2.0 template!  Those of you who follow my blog know all about Flash Cards 2.0 but if you don’t, these are cardstock pieces that I keep ready at all times.  When I need a card, I can grab these 2 pieces, stamp, punch, etc. and create a card in a flash.

Today we are going to use those 2 pieces and create simple and quick Chocolate treat holders.

These will hold Hershey Miniatures, Hershey Nuggets, Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares, and Dove Promise Squares.  Be sure to watch the end of the video for the measurements for the different size chocolates.

Well, I can’t stand the wait any longer!  Let’s watch the video!

If you don’t have those Floral Framelits, I hope you will consider getting them!

  1. Connie Thank you thank you thank you! Ive been wanting to demo these ever since the new cat came out. I tried and tried but could not figure out how they cut them with the framelits!

So glad I could help Stacy! I felt the same way. I looked at that sample I just scratched my head trying to figure it out. It’s really cute! I just made up a bunch to swap at Convention. 🙂

  5. Chrystyna says:

That was a great video and love the treat holder. Have one question: How did you make the slightly bigger one? Have a super day and keep those fabulous ideas coming!!!

    • Connie says:

Chrystyna, I have Dove Promise chocolates in that one. If you will check out the measurements at the end of the video, you will see how to do it. The key with this one is that you DON’T put the white or vanilla piece through the Framelit. It is just scored and lays over the Dove squares. Hope that helps!

I have been unable to view the past two or three videos that you have posted.
The picture shows up but my curser doesn’t turn into a hand that I can click. Perhaps it is only my laptop but I thought I would tell you in case others are having the same problem. Thanks for all your hard work. I really enjoy your videos and use many of them for my projects!!

    • Connie says:

Pat, I have heard from someone else that this is a problem. Sure wish I had a great solution to fix it. I will have my IT department (aka my husband) look into it. In the meantime, just click on the TV set icon on my sidebar and you can view it straight from YouTube. Thanks for the head’s up!
