STAMPIN’ GIRLS GONE WILD WEDNESDAY!

Stampin' Girls Gone Wild with Connie Stewart & Josee Smuck
Josee Smuck

Hey!  It’s Wednesday!!!  That means it’s time for STAMPIN’ GIRLS GONE WILD!!  Josee and I would like to apologize for being a little hit and miss these last month.  With the loss of Josee’s Mom and a tornado hitting my hometown, it’s been a wild month for both of us.  Thank you for your patience with us!  One of the many things that Josee and I love about being Stampin’ Up demonstrators is the flexibility we have.  When”life happens”, we know that we can take a step back.  Thank you all so much for sticking with us!!!

I have been itching to share this technique with you!  A fellow demonstrator, Margaret Raburn, was at my house a couple of weeks ago and shared this technique with me.  It’s amazing!  I have to warn you though – IT’S ADDICTING!!!   Once you try it, you will KEEP GOING!  The laundry won’t get done, you’ll have to eat out for a week because you won’t want to cook, you’ll just want to keep on stamping.  You have been warned!

I love the soft tones of this card and of course, some great dimension!  So Saffron, Pool Party, and Wisteria Wonder are just beautiful together!

Here’s the inside (no card should be naked inside)

And while I was at it, I made a masculine version too.  Notice that I used the postage stamps to cover up the flower on the background?  Everything else looked masculine except that.  What’s a stamper to do?  Cover it up!

I saved this when it came out and have finally gotten time to make it. Wow! is all I can say. I made 4 of them before I came up for breath and there are many more to come. Thank you so much for sharing this technique and this lovely card.

I was just wondering what colors you used for the masculine version. I love the look of it and wanted to try it. Thanks!

    • Connie says:

Jill, I made this card quite a while back and I am not sure. I know the cardstock is Basic Gray and Sahara Sand but not 100% sure what colors I used on the background. Pool Party and So Saffron maybe??? Sorry, wish I could be of more help but I have slept since then and those things leave my brain overnight. 🙂
