It’s been a ROUGH week, I won’t lie. Rehearsal for “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” has been SUPER hard. We no longer have scripts in our hands and no longer are given lines when we don’t know them. I’m too old for this! lol The role of Big Mama is VERY emotional. I cry, I scream, and I cry some more. I come home so emotionally drained from it. Don’t get me wrong! I LOVE it, I really do, but some shows are harder than others.
If anyone is in need of some stampin’ time it’s me. Do you ever feel the need? My stamp does wonders for me when I need to de-stress from the week. That’s why the Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Weekend Challenge is my favorite!
Wow is this sketch so simple! What do you see when you see the circle? Flower? Heart? Designer Paper? Well, it’s all up to you!
- The colors mean nothing….get creative
- The bottom layer can be Designer Paper, cardstock, or a stamped image
- The circle can be just about anything you can dream of
- The sentiment can go anywhere you’d like
Sometimes we all need a little boost to get our creative juices flowing. That’s what the Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Weekend Challenge is all about… a place to start and let your creativity go from there.
So, your challenge is…..over the weekend create something with this layout, share your creations on the Facebook group, and enjoy some great feedback from other Wild Girls. Our group of ‘wild’ stampers is now over 2,800 members! We’re having a great time on this page so join us!

Here’s what I designed for this weekend’s challenge…
Do you have the Host stamp set A Whole Lot of Lovely? Isn’t this sentiment gorgeous? This stamp set is only available if you have a $150 or more order but it’s only $9 (clear mount) PLUS you get (3) Sale-a-Bration rewards too! Something to think about…
I gave my background some texture with the Brick Wall embossing folder and the Love Blossoms Paper Stack. It needed one more thing and I decided to add some white baker’s twine around the card. It was the perfect touch.
Thank You Card – Product List
I have fallen in LOVE with the Grateful Bunch bundle. The sentiments that came with the set were just a tad too big to fit into the space I had so I grabbed a new set that needed to see some ink – You’re So Lovely. In retrospect I wish I had chosen Daffodil Delight over Crushed Curry but that’s okay, it’s still pretty. I just think Daffodil would have been a little brighter.
I used a sponge dauber and inked some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper to make my pretty yellow flower. It needed that extra bling.
Check out the gold metallic thread on this card? It really gave it the texture it needed.

I am looking forward to a couple of days off from rehearsal. I plan to sleep… and stamp…. and clean the garage. It’s going to be 68° this weekend so I won’t freeze to death if I go out there. We have REALLY let the garage get out of hand so I want to spend today getting it all cleaned up. I know…. you all wish your weekend could be as exciting as mine. lol
I hope you guys have a great weekend! Be sure to come back Monday! I have something BRAND NEW waiting for you!!!
Hi Connie, I love your blog and I love your cards and the videos! Sorry I can’t join you on facebook, but someone hacked my account and was sending nasty things out..IN MY NAME!! I just cancelled, don’t want to deal with that, I’m 85 for pete’s sake!! I just love this web-site!!!

Oh that just irks me. Do these people not have anything better to do than to hack into others Facebook accounts? Ugh.
Hi Connie,
Feel bad but I stopped pumpkin subscription. Your ideas were great but
basically just did not like the kits. I enjoy making cards and the kits were more like little projects .
Anyway, just wanted to reiterate how much I enjoy your videos. Your fun personality shines thru.
Thank you, Linda Dickinson
P.S. Wish I could have seen Cat on a Hot
Tin Roof. Was always a favorite. Bet you will do great.Break a leg??
Not a problem. It’s not for everyone. I just love the idea of having projects delivered to me each month. I just get giddy every time that orange box shows up in my mailbox!
