Stampin’ Gals…Saturday????

Hey everyone!!! I didn’t fall off the face of the planet, I promise! As some of you know, I spent last week in Salt Lake City for Stampin’ Up’s 25th Anniversary Convention! It was FANTASTIC! I will post details about that tomorrow because I allowed myself to get so far behind this week that I missed posting the Stampin’ Gals video. I actually spent 5 extra days in Salt Lake visiting with friends and hit the ground running when I got home. You’ve been there, right?  Well, not to worry. I’m back and so excited to share all the cool new things I learned at Convention. BUT FIRST, I MUST share with you Josee’s video for Wednesday (on Saturday).

I haven’t even had a chance to see the video but she had me at COFFEE in the photo! lol I can’t wait to see how she made this project! Let’s go!

Happy Wednesday friends…today is my turn for Stampin’ Girls Wednesday and I had so much fun making this cute little holder.

I was trying to come up with something fun to make and a friend of mine told me about these great Iced Coffee Packets from Starbucks and I just knew this would be perfect!

I personally don’t drink coffee…I love my tea…but, I have tons of friends who love Starbucks so this will be the perfect little gift for them!

The stamp set I used on this holder , Perfect Blend, was actually one of the first stamp sets I purchased from the new Catalog!  I just loved how perfect it would be for my coffee-loving friends and customers. It is quite versatile for a set of 3.

Adding the Soho Subway Designer Series Paper was the perfect touch to make this project pop! Don’t forget, that this month you can purchase three Designer Papers and get the fourth for FREE!

Buy 3 Get 1 Free - www.SimplySimpleStamping.comIt’s such a GREAT deal…and the best part is that all of our Designer Series Paper coordinates with all of our colors.

Did you know that you can find the colors each paper pack coordinates with right under each description in the catalog?  I always look there to see which cardstock will match perfectly!

The splatters at the bottom come from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp set which we received for FREE at convention and I think it looks just like spilled coffee, don’t you?

Awesome video Josee. TFS. I don’t drink coffee but I know many friends do. Connie it was so great to spend time with you just wish it did not go by so quickly. Can’t wait to see what you share with us. Take care and God Bless

Thank you SO much for sharing this Connie! I had been kinda racking my brain about what I can mass produce for ALL the teacher and staff that I have to do for three schools! (about 300) I think this will be a winner! I will have to improvise by making mine a bit more narrow so I can make three fit per 1 sheet and I think I will use bakers twine instead just because of cost and I think I can vary the “packets” with coffee, Crystal Light, Kool-Aid, or Anything else I can find in a packet, when I go shopping and give them a variety and of course I can use a different stamp set.
I can totally see this for a variety of holiday ideas for the kids classroom “goodie bags” with pencils or pixi stix.
OK. You have the wheels turning! 😉

P.S. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my ring and you were right! the POP are addictive! I have about a dozen now! 🙂

Hi Connie, this is a perfect teacher gift with your permission can I copy it and mass produce it maybe in different colours to suit teacher personalities? IF you know what I mean?
I want to ask you these last few videos that come on my emails I am unable to view. They show up with the window ready to show but with out any arrows or anything down the bottom of the screen to direct me. Do you know what happens here, please?
