Stampin’ Up Convention was FAB!

NOTE: I am trying to post from my iPad and it’s not working well. Please pardon wonky text or photos.

Wow!  What a week this has been for me!  I have been in Salt Lake City for the past week for the Stampin’ Up Convention.  It was AMAZING!  It’s always a highlight for me to spend a few days hanging out with close to 4,000 of the most amazing women, and yes, even men, who share my love for Stampin’ Up and creating with paper.

I met SO many demonstrators and I tried to get pictures with as many as I could. Meeting these ladies was one of the highlights for me.

Okay, so my selfie skills aren’t the best but I now have some great memories of new and old friends. Not OLD friends but old friends.

The classes were inspiring, the stamping projects jaw dropping, and Awards Night, for me, was life changing! I was blessed to earn a spot in the Top 100 demonstrators for this past year. WOW! I am just completely blown away! Thank you all for your support of Simply Simple Stamping. I couldn’t have done it without you!

Most people just walk up on the stage to accept their award but I got a little too excited about it and pretty much RAN the entire way. My friends said they tried to get my picture but I was jumping up and down the entire time. Picture me on “The Price is Right”…that was me. I’m a little embarrassed about it now but you know what? This was SO exciting I just couldn’t stand still.
I have spent the past few days hanging with some of my Idaho friends. I used to live in Idaho and these fabulous ladies drive over to Salt Lake and we have what we call WEDO week. WE DO what we want, when we want, and whenever we want. It’s another highlight of convention week for me. I love spending some down time shopping, eating, sleeping in, eating, shopping, eating, and a little more shopping. 🙂

Oh and Mr. Awesome worked on my stamp room while I was gone too! YAY!!!! I can’t wait to get home to see what he did.

I fly home tomorrow and I have some great idea swarming in my head to share with you all.

I have a great video for tomorrow’s Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Wednesday freebie! I hope you’ll be back for it!
