It’s no secret that my daughter Ginny loves her Pumpkin Spice Latte – PSL for short. It’s also no secret that I love Little Debbie Snack Cakes – LDSC for short. I found these Little Debbie Pumpkin Spice Rolls while browsing the snack cake isle at the grocery store. Not a section that is good for my waistline, but I was shopping for Ginny. No, seriously, it was 100% for her! I promise!
I immediately had this idea in my head and couldn’t wait to create it. I wasn’t sure if my idea would work and I am happy to report IT DID!
What a fun gift for that friend who is a PSL nut! I know you know at least one. We all do.
Here are the measurements in case you missed them:
- Pumpkin Pie (box) – 5 ¾” x 10 ½”, score at 1 ¾” on all sides
- Pumpkin Pie (K-Cup) – 2 ¼” x 8″, score at 1 ¾” x 3 ¾”, 5 ½”, and 7 ½”
- Pumpkin Pie (tag) – 2″ x 3″
- Pumpkin Designer Paper (lid) – 5 ¼” x 10″, score with BOX MAKER SHIM at 1 ½” on all sides
- Pumpkin Designer Paper (tag) – 1 ¾” x 3″
- Very Vanilla (tag) – (2) 1 ¼” x 1 ¾”
- Ribbon – 22″

I love your pumpkin box but I am having trouble with it. I do not have a shim and I can’t get the top and bottom to fit. Any thing you can tell me to make it a better fit? Thanks in advance for your help.
I have a video listed in the blog post on how to create the shim. That shim makes a HUGE difference.
Connie: The Pumpkin Spice box was the cutest! After seeing the video – went out and got the Little Debbies and coffee. I had a restless night on Sunday, got up gathered paper and began making these boxes. Made 12 – handed them out yesterday at a church meeting. They were a total HIT! Thank you for this idea. Will do some for Christmas. I’m in love with you Little Debbie projects. Did the one for Valentine’s day also this year.

The only problem that I have ran into is, the Box dimensions are bigger than the lid even using the shim
Be sure to check your measurements. The box and lid are 2 different sizes.
