Vintage Flash Card

This is one of the cards I made for the upcoming Stampin‘ Up Leadership Conference. Swapping cards with other demonstrators is the most fun ever! It’s like trick-or-treating for grown-ups!

I love this elements of this card – Blushing Bride, Soft Suede, and Very Vanilla cardstock. I used 3 stamp sets – Rue Des Fleurs, Wonderfully Worn background and Netting background. For that little touch of 3-D, I added a crumb cake seam binding bow.

If you are unfamiliar with what a flash card is, it’s a card that can be made using a basic design. The Soft Suede is cut 4 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ and the Very Vanilla is cut 4″ x 2 1/2″. When you cut the cardstock, you will end up with 8 pieces of each. I keep these cut pieces around and whenever I need a card in a flash, I just pull them out, stamp, and voila! Card in a flash!

I use this style a lot because the cardstock size is SO easy to work with. Check back tomorrow for another flash card!
