LAYERING SQUARE FRAMELITS
When I saw the new Layering Square Framelits in the catalog, I thought to myself, “Nah, I can live without those. I can cut a square.” You know what? I honestly can’t. Whenever I try to cut a small square I always go lopsided….always.
And once I got the Layering Square Framelits and played with them, NOW I see that there is no way I could live without them. They do SO much more than what I thought!
Check out these awesome frames they make! I love those little scallops!! It’s so cool that this set comes with both straight squares and scallop squares.
I even made a video on how to create this SWEET birthday easel!
Let me share the video…

- Whisper White – 3″ x 3″, use the 2 ⅝” Square Framelit
- Pink Pirouette – 1″ x 10″, cut down to 1″ x 7 ¾” – score at 2 ½”, 3 ½”, 4 ½”, and 7″ (save the scrap for the flowers)

Tonight is DATE NIGHT! You know you’re old when date night is on a Wednesday night. lol Actually, we have theatre tickets to go see “Dreamgirls”. I’ve never seen the stage show so I am excited to see it. Loved the movie but what I love most is hearing Mr. Awesome belt out “And I am tellin’ You”. It’s hilarious!
I hope you’ll join me tomorrow because I have a great idea for using today’s easel. I’ll even have a video for my bonus project! See ya then!

Adorable card Connie!! Thank you so much for the video – you make it look so easy!! I haven’t tried a shaker card yet, but now I will:-)
Shakers are so much fun to make and to give. I love that you added the little easel on the back. Thanks so much.
Hey there Connie, GREAT tip on the bones : – ) and love the little chaker card. Thanks
SO adorable! Thanks for great video explaining it all too!
I love this shaker card. Great nudge to my blank brain. Needed a really big nudge to get it working. I can’t wait to make it. Thanks Connie for sharing.
