Wine Gift Set

Rich and I love to make our own wine. It’s a hobby we started this past summer and well, not to toot my own horn, but WOW, WE MAKE SOME DARN GOOD WINE! We have made Peach Chardonnay, Blackberry Merlot, and Raspberry White Zinfandel… all equally yummy (but Peach is my all time fav). So, I saw this idea and had Rich build a “wine caddy” out in his shop. It’s a very inexpensive piece of MDF board that I painted with acrylic paint. After it was dry, I stamped on it with Versamark, sprinkled it with Gold embossing powder and heat set it. I followed that up with 2 coats of a glossy sealer. It looks much better in person and I love how it came out. Best part is that it cost under $1.00 to make but looks like a million bucks!

That is so cool! I want some wine. How much do you charge for a bottle? I’d love to try the peach or the blackberry. Sounds so yummy!

So cool to see this on Pinterest…I don’t know if I explored your archives well enough to have seen this before. Any chance you could get Rich to make a copy of the outline of this so we readers could try to con a friend or loved one to make one for us too? 🙂
