Wow! The response to this month’s 2-MINUTE TUESDAY TIP series on creating ribbon bows was overwhelmingly positive! It seems this is an area that a lot crafters struggle with. I hope that you learned some great tips on the basics of bow tying last Tuesday (if you missed it, CLICK HERE) and today I have a new tip on tying teeny tiny bows.
Sometimes you just need a tiny bow on a card. Maybe you smudged your ink (yep, it happens), or you accidentally caught the edge of the stamp (oh yeah, that happens too).
Don’t throw away a mistake… cover it with a teeny tiny bow!
Let me share a quick 2-Minute video on how to make these bows easy peasy…
Yep! It’s as easy and tying 2 bunny ears together! What do you think?
I hope you’ll try out this bow tying method. It’s super simple and you can make bigger bows using this tying method too. You will be a bow tying ninja before you know it!
I forgot to tell you how auditions for “Oklahoma” went. We weren’t able to go on Sunday but they had auditions last night too. I had prepared myself not to go. I was bummed about that but as I looked at my calendar with all my conflicts I realized that I would have to miss 7 rehearsals. I doubted they would cast me with conflicts like that so why waste the director’s time. Well, at the last minute, I thought I would go. Maybe they could work around them, maybe they couldn’t. We will see.
The best part of going to auditions is seeing my friends and past cast mates. That is always a highlight for me.
Christina and Ginny auditioned too and WOW did they both do amazing! I am so proud of them. Their vocals are just phenomenal. Rehearsals start Monday so the cast list should go up soon. I’ll keep you posted!
Just a little head’s up about tomorrow. My post will go live at 3pm central time rather than in the morning. Why? Tomorrow is the Fancy Folds Design Team Blog Hop. Just WAIT until you see what I have waiting for you. I think tomorrow’s card is my most amazing card ever! I have a video for you as well and trust me, you are going to LOVE it too! See you tomorrow!
I hope you all have a fabulous Tuesday!
