Anyone else have an “old make-up drawer”? You know that drawer where make-up goes to die? Well, today it’s time to reach into that drawer and pull out some of that blue eye shadow from 1985 and let’s use it to create a fun technique!
Check it out on Basic Black cardstock! WOWZA is that beautiful or what? Trust me, in person it is incredible!
Let me share today’s 2-Minute Tuesday Tip with you….

Isn’t that a cool way to upcycle that old make-up? So fun and you probably have a lot of choices in that make-up drawer. All you need is a VersaMark ink pad and you’re set. If you don’t have a VersaMark ink pad, just add it to your next order! It’s called Versa for a reason – it’s a super versatile ink pad!
I hope that you found today’s tip a useful one. It’s a great way to use something not useful, right?
So, it’s Tuesday and time for another update in my weight loss for those of you who are following it. I’m down another pound from last week for a total of 14 lbs. since I started April 4th. Yay! Only 25 to go! Mr. Awesome is down 16 lbs as well so that’s a total of 30 lbs gone from the Stewart household. Pretty cool! We are both feeling great and doing this together has brought us closer together too. 🙂
I hope that you guys have a great Tuesday and will join me tomorrow for more stamping awesomeness! See ya then!

Love your video! Now that’s a technique I haven’t seen before, but it’s an “Of course!” idea. And the range of colors we can use (kinda embarrassing to think of what I have around!) is great.
Congrats on your continuing weight loss. I started dieting about the middle of March, and am down around 12 lbs, so I am right there with you on the feeling of satisfaction with each pound gone. About 18 more to go for me. Keep it up!
Wahoo! Good for you! You know how hard it is then. Weight is easy to put on and hard to take off. Way to go Kathy!!!
leave it to you Connie…another good idea!
Very interesting! I’m going to try this, but I’m wondering if it will continue to rub off say, if a recipient should run their fingers across it in an admiring gesture…
I had no problem with it staying on but if you want, you can spray it with aerosol hair spray.
Had to laugh “closer together’ you and Mr Awesome .
LOL! So true!
What a great tip and a fun way to use that old make up.
Very cute idea! It’s a new one for me. Will have to give it a try.
Congrats on you and Mr. Awesome’s weight loss! Yippee!! Card with eye shadow a cute tip! Thanks for sharing!
Well, leave it to Connie to think of something fabulous to share.
I do have a few eye shadows that I kind of refuse to throw out and I’ve used them to add a bit of shadow to some of my cards but I must try this tip, I think it’s really clever and useful.
Thank you so much Connie.
Hugs.
Maria Rodriguez.
WOW what an awesome video tip!!! I can’t wait to try this…???
Hi Connie, what a great idea and such a lovely effect. Congrats on your weight loss. I can always rely on you for great ideas and inspiration, thank you!

Great idea! Reminds me of the old Pearl-ex! Thanks for sharing!

Great idea Connie, thank you!
Connie, as always you leave me inspired to do wonderful cards and scrap-booking, heck even painting on cards. I always come away with new ideas and lots of fun. Your videos help to bring out the craftier side of me. I have only been making cards for a 1 year now, and you make it so easy to follow your directions even when I don’t have the same stamps as shown. My family, friends and co-workers have enjoyed my creations.
Thank you so very much for being a fun lively demonstrator.
Most fabulous ideas!! Do you have a creative idea for using permanent hair dye?? I stopped dying my hair & I have a few un used boxes of hair dye I want to be creative with.
I have never seen anything done with hair dye. I suppose you could test some thing on some scrap paper and see what you get.
