Today’s 2-Minute Tuesday Tip is…. well, it’s just one of the best things since the Big Shot. Today I’m going to share with you a NEW way to adhere thin detailed die cuts. It’s SO easy!
I’m tellin’ you, this tip is totally mind blowing!!! When I learned about this method, I dropped everything to see if it would work. Not only did it WORK but it was by far the BEST and EASIEST way to adhere a detailed die cut. I literally screamed when I saw the end result.
Let me share today’s mind blowing 2-Minute Tip Video with you…
I hope you were as blown away as I was. I am now excited to use those detailed die cuts rather than dreading the work that goes into adhering them to my projects.

Did today’s tip just rock your world??? To the “mystery Stampin’ Up demonstrator” who shared this tip, I am SO glad you shared. I wish I knew your name so I could give you proper credit but just know that I truly appreciate you!
I have some VERY exciting news from Stampin’ Up! A new set of Framelits AND coordinating stamp sets 25% OFF!!! I got up EARLY this morning to order my set of Stitched Shapes framelits. These are going to be a new favorite, I can tell. I love
Want to SEE these new Framelits in action? Here’s a video from Stampin’ Up on how amazing these are…
What caught my eye in the video was when Brandi talked about how the stitching gave such a great look, you didn’t really need to add a layer. That saves me time and money and I LIKE that!
Well, that’s it for me today. Have a great Tuesday my sweet stampin’ peeps! See ya tomorrow for another Make It in Minutes video!

Connie, what a fabulous tip!!! Wished I had it yesterday when I had to assemble the intricate floral pieces!!! Anyway, now I do. THANKS from the bottom of my heart :0)
You are right. This is one of the best tips ever. Thank you.
Oh yes, this is a GREAT tip. Thanks for sharing.
🙂
DA BOMB! The fine tip glue pen has it’s place, but the downside of the liquidy texture is it not always adhering as strongly as I prefer.
Fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing your tips with us!
Connie – you are right. This is amazing. I tried it on a die I never use because it is so hard to glue down. It worked beautifully! Thanks so much.
AWESOMENESS ! TFS
OMG! Yup! It is ‘earth-shattering’! I had just made a card with those ornaments and used the ‘Glue Tip Pen’…it worked, but I think I like this idea the BEST! Thank you for sharing and prayers of Blessing on the Demonstrator that showed this technique…God knows who it is!
I never miss your tip videos and this one has to go to the top of my list. I am anxious to try it. Thanks for all your tips they really do help us all.
Connie, I wished I had seen this tutorial before I made my Christmas cards this year….totally cool idea ! Thanks for all your clever tips and ideas, I watch everyone of them !
WOW! Thanks for sharing!!!
As soon as I saw the screen shot of the tools, I knew and wondered why we all didn’t think of this. Thank you for sharing.
WOW, Connie this is a GREAT tip, used it 1st thing this am, I didn’t have any of the multi purpose glue, but I used the clear combo and it worked great. THANK YOU,ove ur tips and Cards, of course ?????. Have a great day.
I do believe this tip may change my life! Love it and thanks for sharing!
Another great tip from you – thank you! Question: how do you clean the residual glue off the pad? Do you ever get the left-over glue that’s been sponged, on the next die cut image? I want to do numerous ornaments so I’m wondering if I have to clean the mat after each application.
If I keep it in the airtight container I haven’t had any problem. I do clean the silicone mat when I’m all done. I just rub on the dried glue and it comes right off. Rinsing it under water works well too.
Connie this tip is beyond AMAZING! I have shared this with my customers and they love it too! Now, perhaps you could have a contest to actually name this technique? For now I am referring to it as Connie Stewart’s “Sponge in Tupperware Gluing System”. That gets a little hard to say! I haven’t yet tried this with vellum but looking forward to using it there as well!
LOL! Yeah, I guess there really isn’t a name for this. Just glue sponging. 🙂
