Happy Tuesday my stampin’ friends! Tuesdays mean one thing around here – yep, 2-Minute Tuesday Tips! Today’s video I want to focus on a couple of new punches in our catalog. On page 206 of the new Annual catalog, check out these two new punches.
The Decorative Ribbon Border punch actually creates a “ribbon”. What I mean is that this punch creates a separate piece of cardstock so not an actual “border” on a card. I did use the ribbon as a border on a card though.
See? It gives a nice soft look to this card. Oh, and the OPPOSITE side of the punch, leaves a sweet scallop border so this punch actually gives you two different looks when used as a border.
The other punch is the Ticket Tear punch. This punch is actually a lot of fun to work with.
I used it in conjunction with the Layering Square Framelits to create kind of a postage stamp look.
Then to add just a little more of that punch, I used it as a border in the Whisper White at the bottom of the card.
This card isn’t one of my best (created it at 5:30am and half a cup of coffee) but I did love how easy the card came together and how easy the punch was to work with. Hey, if I can operate a punch at 5:30am, just think what I could do at 10am!
I have a short video sharing with you how to line up the images on the border punches. I hope you enjoy it!

We had a great night at the Melting Pot. The food was amazing but we all ate WAYYYYYY too much. After being on Weight Watchers for the last 2 months, going out for a big meal was hard on the stomach. Am I complaining? Oh NO cuz’ it was SO good! Brie with bacon cheese fondue, a great variety of steak, duck, & shrimp and we finished the night with turtle chocolate fondue (heaven on earth).
This is us at the end of the night.
Proud parents of two amazing kids. It was fun to treat them (and their sweet friends) to a night of awesome.
