I love the look of sequins on a card but dog-gone-it those suckers are hard to pick up! I was really struggling to get them off my finger (static cling) but I had this ‘AH HA’ moment. I tried the idea and I am SO excited to say it worked like a charm! Now I want to share my idea with you in today’s 2-Minute Tuesday Tip video.

Using today’s tip, I was able to place those sequins RIGHT where I wanted them without getting glue on my fingers but getting the sequins to stick. Gotta love those ‘AH HA’ moments!
Stampin’ Up has the best embellishments in the industry! They are bright & shiny, not dull like others you may have seen. Be sure to add these fabulous embellishments to your next order. Just click a pic to order!
I hope that you can create one of these simple little do-hickies. It’s going to be SO useful on sequins, rhinestones, and pearls.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope your week is going splendidly! See ya back here tomorrow!
Good tip today. I use a skewer or toothpick and put a large drop of Tombow liquid glue on the end. After it dries, it works just like your putty adhesive. I store the toothpick standing in a small square of Styrofoam. Works great and is always close by for those small placements.
This is a great tip…on the way today to get some of this putty. Thanks for sharing.
You could use a toothpick also. Great idea
My problem is i would lose a toothpick on my desk. Lol. I need the BIG STICK!
Neat idea and very helpful. Thanks Connie.
Connie, great idea. I have done something similar using chop sticks to hold down small items I am heat embossing. Yay, no more burnt fingers.
Connie I love this tip tutorial. I have a tool from We R memories, the makers if our punch boards I will send you one, is there a way to get this item added to our catalog as I think we could sell tons of them for exactly tge reason you gave in your video.
I understand what you’re saying but mine was free. I like free! ?
