Happy Tuesday and Happy 4th of July!!! I’m sure everyone is busy with family and friends and food and fireworks but I didn’t want to let a Tuesday go by without sharing a 2-Minute Tuesday Tip video with you.
You have seen me stand in front of this wall numerous times.
Many of you have asked me the best way to store stamp sets. Should you do alphabetically? Should you organize by catalog? By theme? I get asked this question a lot so today’s video will share the system I found that works great for organizing my stamp sets so I can find what I am looking for quickly and easily.
Let me share today’s video with you…
Here is the link to the Ikea cabinet that I used. IKEA BESTA FRAME The photo doesn’t show the shelves that go inside. You buy those separately for around $5. My wall has 2 of these Besta cabinets, one on top of the other.
Thanks for joining me today! I hope that you found today’s video helpful. I hope all my USA friends have a wonderful 4th of July! Be safe and God Bless America!!!

I organize just like you do. Flowers together, sentiments together etc. You made a good point that you organize in a way that makes sense to you. One thought I had recently is that if you are super organized you don’t go through random stuff & see those things you forgot about.
That is an excellent point Karen, thank you!
Looks so nice And organized. Thank you. Enjoy your july 4 th
Thank you so much Charlsie!
Thank you for this video. Would you mind giving the measurements for your cabinet. The one in the link is 23″ long and the shelf is 22″. Does that match your shelving? How many shelves do you have in each of your units? Thank you so much
Sorry about that. I accidentally grabbed the wrong link. The new link is posted. As far as the shelves, remember, they are going on the inside so they aren’t the length of the actual cabinet from end to end.
I organize mine the exact same way, Connie! Works for me too. My food & drink section has grown over the years LOL! I’m short on space so I use the Container Store Media storage… you can either install them on a wall or a door, love them filled with all my stamp sets!
That’s a great idea, thank you so much!
I organize my stamps by category as well. But I have added a new twist. I got tired of looking fhrough all the stamp sets for a certain phrase. I set up in Microsoft Excel, a list of stamp name and phrases. Many stamp sets with images also have some phrases. Every time I get a new stamp set, I record all the word phrases in the Excel file. When I am looking for a “just for you” for example, I can type it in the find box and it goes to all the stamp sets that have those words. Saves lots of time!
That’s a great idea, thank you for sharing!
