Today’s 2-Minute Tuesday Tip goes with yesterday’s share about my weekend Paper Pumpkin stamp session.
As I mentioned yesterday, I LOVE my Paper Pumpkin subscription! I just go giddy when I open my mailbox to that gorgeous red box!
The problem I was running into was how to store all my Paper Pumpkin stamps. I started with the clear mount stamp boxes. That worked but I was acquiring a lot of Paper Pumpkin stamps so I needed something a little different. Project Life to the rescue!

The Project Life albums make organization and storage so easy! What’s not to love and knowing where all your stamps are? And the decor on the front was free. Wahoo!
If you would like to start organizing your Paper Pumpkin stamps or becoming a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, just click a pic below! I had the chance to see a sneak peek for the August and September kits. WOWZA! They are gorgeous!!
Yesterday was move-in day for Christina at OCU. I thought Sophomore year would be easier for me but it was harder. We packed up all of her stuff and got it moved in. The good news? She’s on the first floor. The bad news? She’s ALL THE WAY in the back of the building….a long ways from the front door. Well, I can now say I got my workout in yesterday. We all did!
Her new dorm is JUST darling! So much better than last year. She is a Resident Assistant this year so she gets room all to herself (and a bathroom all to herself). She doesn’t have it totally decorated yet so we have some work to do there. She has so much wall space that we are going to need to bring some more artwork from home.
I had to laugh though… her bedroom and bathroom are bigger than the ones she had at home. She won’t want to move out next summer!
My favorite picture from yesterday. Christina always wanted an apartment with doors like this. This is Christina & Ginny’s “Laverne & Shirley” moment (my favorite show growing up and now they love it too).
Classes don’t start for another 3 weeks but she has RA training during that time. I must say it was nice to move her in without dealing with thousands of other kids moving in. Sweet!
Today I MUST get in my studio and create though! I’ve missed it so much!
Hope you all have a fantastic Tuesday! See you tomorrow my friends!

This is the greatest storage idea for the Paper Pumpkin stamp sets. You are a genius. Can’t wait to get mine in one. Thank you so much for all your Tuesday Two Minutes Tip Videos. I always learn from them. You are the best. P.S. Love the dorm room.
Thanks Gigi! You’re so sweet!
I love this idea! How many pages can fit in the album when full? Can you put stamps in both the front and back of a pocket or is that too bulky? Where did you get the stamp set in the front?! Was that a convention special?
Great questions! I can’t say for sure how many pages will fit because right now, I have all my photopolymer Paper Pumpkin stamp sets in it and it took up 6 pages and there is TONS of space left in the album. Tons! No, you can’t go back to back. Tried that. It was too tight and I couldn’t get the stamps out easily. The stamp set I had in the front was indeed a special stamp set for Convention goers.
Oh this is a great idea. I didn’t like the idea of putting them in the plastic box and not being able to see each one. I didn’t want multiple boxes of the stamps either. I think I will have to give this a whirl.
I have another question – do you complete each kit or do you still have a bunch that you have not finished? If the later – how do you store all the extra goodies. I want to get rid of the boxes – they are wonderful to mail things in. But, when hubbie sees all the boxes (I rarely make more than a few of the cards as I wait to see what alternatives there are!) he starts getting a little cranky about the money etc. I spent on them.
Anyway, I love your videos and your blog. I am so glad I found you. I have learned so much and have made a few of your flash card ideas with more to come! Thanks!
Excellent question Chris! I’m like you…. I don’t necessarily make all the cards that come in the kit so I have stuff left over. I put all the supplies (except the stamp set) in a gallon size ziplock bag. I store all of my bags in a plastic shoebox or storage box. You can fit A LOT of Paper Pumpkins in a box! You can add your Ink Spots to this box as well. Now when I’m about to hit the road camping, I can grab my binder of stamps, my shoebox, and I have lots of great stamping ready to go and it takes up very little space.
This is so absolutely, positivitely brilliant! Thanks so much for sharing! I did this with my stamps this afternoon, and also tucked a printed note in the back of each pocket that has the month and name of the kit the stamps came from, as well as the coordinating colors in the kit (happy to share the file with you I used for creating those if you’d like).
What a great idea!!!
I would love for you to share your information with me. I started Paper Pumpkin at the very beginning and stopped after 2 years. I heard it had gotten better so I resigned up and got June 2016 for my first subscription back. I have lots of boxes and need to get them organized.
I actually pull them out of the boxes and put them in ziplock bags and store the bags in a tub. Some kits I save to take camping and others I will do while watching TV or something. There are always leftover pieces and I love having them all in one place. I pull from those as I’m working. 🙂 Time to get creative!!!
If you have the name and month for PP kits already in a file I could just print out, I would love to get a copy, please. I have a bunch of unopened kits ( lack of time on my part) but would love to finally get them organized. It is now July 2017 and your post was two years ago, so not sure if you are still a demo or not, a PP subscriber or not, etc. but, if you are and you are willing to share, I would really appreciate it! Thank So much!
Oh Suzanne, I am sorry. I don’t have a list of all the Paper Pumpkin kits. I can tell you the name of each kit is printed on the side of the box, if that helps.
I have been trying so hard to come up with ideas as a “gift” to my PP customers for storing their stamps!! They have way too many. I tried several photo album thoughts and this never occurred to me!! What was I NOT thinking!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking this task out of my thinking tank. You rock!
Happy to get one more thing off your mind! 🙂
Connie, Like so many of your other followers I too am one as I’ve watched many if not all your videos. What size are the green cards in you Project Life notebook? I too would like to do the same thing. What I might put on my binder is use a binder clip to use for the directions on the inside of the cover, not sure of that yet.
Thank you for sharing so much with us. A GREAT inspiration!
It depends on the pocket but I cut the pieces the same size as the Project Life cards – 3″ x 4″, 4″ x 4″, or 4″ x 6″. Hope that helps!
Thank you SOOOO much Connie, as usual I’m always asking you for help. I do watch all your videos, and I feel you’re a very generous lady about many things. GOD loves you and me too. <3 <3 <3
