QUOTE OF THE DAY – “Spring passes and one remembers one’s innocence. Summer passes and one remembers one’s exuberance.
Autumn passes and one remembers one’s reverence. Winter passes and one remembers one’s perseverance.” —
It seems like a great day to remember all four seasons. I think here in Oklahoma we experienced all of them this week! Anyone else dealing with that? That is one crazy thing about Fall – many states experience all the seasons during October.
Thanks for being with me today! I sure hope you enjoyed the video! I will be back with you on Tuesday for a new Tip video. See ya then my Stampin’ Peeps!!!
Watched the video. Really like the great tips you offered.
Aww, thank you Chris! I appreciate that!
Great idea, Connie! Frankly I prefer the non-colored versions of your cards although I liked the highlighting of the bird’s wings and head. I also liked the touch of ribbon and it would look very nice on the non-colored cards as well. These are just my very humble opinions and this is something I will definitely try. Thank you for all of your wonderful videos!
That’s what is great about this technique – leave it as is or color it in.
Very good tip.
Thank you Sue! I am so glad you found it helpful!
Loved your cards this morning. I had not bought blends until I went to On Stage and used them on the cards we made, I loved them so much I have bought all of them and use them daily. I love blends!
I’m so hooked on them! They are amazing and made me fall in love with coloring.
Connie, I enjoy ALL your tips and ideas but this one is PERFECT for me. I can’t wait to do this as I have several stamps that I can use for this new-to-me technique. Thank you, thank you!!
Karen, I am SO glad this was a helpful technique for you.
Hi Connie, I love your tutorials. There is always something new to experiment with and learn. I live in Australia and we use the metric measuring system and all your measurements are inches (of course, you know that) and I was wondering if it would be possible to convert your measurements into metric as well as having inches. I am sure I am not the only one with the problem as most people who live in Europe use metric now. This will not stop me still watching your videos, especially Tuesday Tips. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with everyone. I am sure I am not the only one who has learnt from your tips and videos. Once again Thank You.
Carol, unfortunately I was never taught the metric system here in the USA. Sorry I am not able to help with that.
You are a genius! And now I will look like one, too. I think this is so perfect for a quick card, or a class card, especially giving the option of to color, or not to color. Great job!
Mary, I am so glad you liked this idea!
