You’ve asked and I am ready to come back to my LIVE broadcasts! They will be a little different though. Instead of Facebook, I will be live on YouTube. This is great for those of you who aren’t on Facebook but the greatest benefit is the quality of the videos (YouTube doesn’t seem to have all the glitches that Facebook had). We can still chat together, I can read your comments and answer your questions live just as I always have, just on a different platform. I’m excited about this change! My first YouTube Live will be TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 16th and I will be featuring the Forever Lovely bundle on page 5 of the Occasions catalog. I have some gorgeous Now or Wow cards to share!
UPDATE: After a big storm a few weeks ago, my internet won’t stay connected and it’s causing issues when I try to go live SO look for a YouTube PREMIER video instead. I will be online live with you to chat during the pre-recorded video. We are working with our internet company to get the issue fixed so hopefully by the next Live event, all will be good. Fingers crossed!!!
TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 16th on YouTube (my channel name is “Connie Stewart”) at the time below:
- 5pm pacific time
- 6pm mountain time
- 7pm central time
- 8pm eastern time
If you would like to “chat” with me during the event, you will need to sign into your YouTube account (or set one up before the Live event).
Can’t make it? Not to worry, I will post it here on Thursday.
I hope that today’s video had a tip or two that was new to you. I especially love the tip about tying the ribbon around the spool and for keeping a ribbon in place while you tie it in a bow.
Thank you all so much for tuning into today’s Tuesday Tip video. Sharing these tips with you each Tuesday is my favorite.
Make it a fabulous day and go create something fabulous while you’re at it! See you tomorrow for Facebook Live!

Hi Connie! Wow! Great tips video. My fave was to use ribbon around the spool to keep the dots secure. Also, using the dot under the ribbon when tying a bow. Thanks so much. You are awesome & your energy is contagious!…a good thing for sure.
Sue
Sue, all those lovely comments sure do brighten my day. I’m so thrilled that I’m able to help ya’ll out with useful tips and tricks and that we can all have fun creating!! Happy Stamping 🙂
Thanks for all these tips. My favorite tip was tying ribbon around the roll of glue dots.
Thanks so much for joining me today Kathy! That ribbon is uber useful isn’t it?!
Great stuff Connie thanks for sharing how to use glue dots so well.
You’re very welcome John!
Thanks for the Glue Dot Inside tips Connie! Love them.
Glad you found them helpful Oliver!
I am looking for that poppy paper which came out last year. Do you know if there is any around to purchase. It the 12×12 paper pack.
Sharon, that paper retired in June. Have you tried eBay? You might find it there.
I’ve been meaning to ask for months, but are the mini glue dots that come in Paper Pumpkin the same as the mini glue dots sold by SU? I have some by Zots (??), but they can make me crazy at times. I’m pretty sure the answer is “duhhhhhhh, of course they are!”, but I just have to ask. 🙂
Actually they are a little different. In the Paper Pumpkin boxes they are on a sheet and you have to peel off a backing. The Glue Dots in the catalog are on a roll and you can press an embellishment on it or pick them up with your Take Your Pick Tool for quick and easy placement.
But beyond the paper backing, the glue itself is the same? I love the ones from Paper Pumpkin and was on the fence about adding them to my SU order. I guess the answer now can be JUST ORDER THEM. 🙂
