I don’t know about you but sometimes I run out of card making design ideas and fall in a slump! That’s where a card making layout template can really save the day. Let me share how it works…..

I think we have all struggled at one time with a lack of creative juice. We stare at that cardstock or stamp set and just don’t know where to start. I hope this card sketch will help you recover that long lost creative mojo!
- Card Base – 4 ¼” x 11″, score at 5 ½” OR 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score at 4 ¼”
- Layering Cardstock – 2 ¾” x 4 ¼”
- 4″ x 5 ¼” (inside of card)
- Basic White – 2 ½” x 4″
- 3 ¾” x 5″
- Designer Series Paper (if not stamping the background) – 4″ x 5 ¼”

Thanks for sharing this sketch. Just made a couple of cards and will definitely be using this sketch a lot..
So I watched your video and how to make these cards. I printed and used the measurements that were on the juice sheet. I was wondering how come my focal image cards would not fit like yours. I went back and watched the video again. The measurements given in the video are not the same as the ones on the juice page. I love yours ideas, and that they are quick to make and still look fabulous. Ready to try out the new measurements to see if my card can be closer to yours.
Betty, I don’t have any actual measurements on the diagram but I do share my measurements in the blog post. The Creative Juice print out is meant to be a guide for inspiration. If you have a different size image, start with a bigger or smaller piece of cardstock. I hope this helps!
