It’s time to get started on those Christmas cards so today I’m sharing a returning favorite and showing you how to make Christmas cards Now or Wow style!
As much as I had hoped I would be further along in my recovery from shoulder surgery, my shoulder had a different idea in mind – a torn tendon. Unfortunately a torn tendon meant a longer healing than I had planned for so I ran out of videos. Not to worry! I know you’ll love this favorite of Christmas card ideas.
Today’s Now or Wow cards were created with the Brightly Gleaming Variety Bundle from the Holiday catalog, page 19.
Creating my Christmas cards every year is something I truly look forward to. I like to create lots of different designs, not just one. As I address an envelope, I can pick out that perfect card for the addressee. And, well, I won’t lie, I get bored making a lot of the same card. I like to mix it up and create different colors, different design, and yep, different stamp sets.

Sorry to hear about your shoulder surgery. I tore my bicep tendon a couple of years ago and recovery was brutal. ~donna
Dear Connie,
So Sorry that the healing process is taking longer than you expected, but just take it easy or you will do more damage and be back to square one.
Love the Christmas card, which is very handy and my friend and I are having a Christmas card session tomorrow.
Take care.
I hope you heal more quickly than predicted! In the meantime, enjoy the break – however you can. Love the cards❣️
Take the time to heal properly or it’ll haunt you later. I had to do six months of physio to return to “normal” after tearing tendons in my arm. Happy Healing to you.
I always look forward to your posts, old or new there’s always something that will spark creativity.
Thanks for this throwback video. Wishing you well.
Sorry to hear that you are having problems with your shoulder Connie. Please take the time to get yourself better and heal yourself. I remember this Christmas card, in fact I think I made it. I love the colours of them. Be kind to yourself!
Yep, “seasoning” bodies take longer to heal, so take the time and do your rehab. I looked at your card and my thought was “Stamparatus!” Greetings on one plate and ornaments on the second plate and off we go!
Connie, be blessed, as you are a blessing to us!
Hi Connie!
I agree with the other stampers. Take the time to heal well. You won’t regret it! Also, I like the reruns. Actually, making suggestions for using new products etc is very helpful. You could do a blog of just cards from the past. Give measurements or link to previous post info. We all appreciate you & all you’ve shared. I’m not on social media , but I’ll bet lots of your viewers could show you lots of Connie love by sharing their cards from casing yours! It could be called………
” Let’s CASE Connie”!
Just an idea. Anyway, you have blessed so many of my designs that I’d be happy to show you that blessing back.
Take care & God Bless
Sue
I totally agree with Sue above. Connie you are so good at teaching paper crafting and sharing your skills and talents that I simply love to sit and watch your old (new to me) videos!
I am so sorry that you are not feeling your best and hope you will rest and take good care of yourself!
❤️We need you Connie … sending paper hugs and feel good wishes!

I’m so sorry you are having additional problems with your shoulder surgery. My husband had his left one done over 15 years ago and the muscle had torn from the bone, so he understands. Now he is looking at surgery for his right shoulder and I know he dreads it, but is so tired of the pain and being so limited physically. We both wish you continued healing. The end result will be worth it, but it is difficult to see that now. I so enjoy watching you as you get me pumped up and excited to do stamping. I will say an extra prayer for you so we can have you back with us soon. Take care.
pretty card, thanks for sharing
Hi, Connie!
So sorry to hear you have a torn tendon after having shoulder surgery. I have a torn rotator cuff and they say I need reverse shoulder replacement. I am trying to put it off as long as I can. Please take care of yourself so you can back to teaching us.
Love the cards. Such inspiration! I have spent the last 2 days cutting paper-cardstock, DSP, and mounting card stock.
Take care of yourself, we need you back, but not until you are completely healed. Prayers that it will be quick.
Connie, I’ve both cards. I will certainly make them very soon. I also had shoulder surgery a couple of years ago. Now mine is starting to crack, so I think surgery will be in the future but so far isn’t hurting too much. Do take care of your self, we love all your ideas.

Do de do what the doctor says. In the long scheme of life you will be happy you did. In the mean time,
we LOVE your throw back presentations. I love this set and such a wonderful way to think COOL. Our temp is usually in the 70’s but we are having a heat wave here on the Central Coast of CA with 100 deg weather. Perfect Christmas card idea to start my stash.
Hi Connie,
Sorry to hear about your shoulder. I know it’s tough not being able to do what you want but if you rush it you could make matters worse. I do wish you a speedy recovery! I have leaned a lot from you in a short time and I’m lookin forward to new ideas from you.
