Cough cough sneeze sneeze…. that is my life right now. Yep, that darn sinus bug that is going around got me. Coughing and sneezing make it very difficult to shoot a video so I will have to give a ‘pass’ on a Tuesday Tip video today. I am, however, snuggled up with my new quilt. I wanted to show it off because it’s SO cool!
I have the BEST sister and Mom EVER!!!! They created this quilt for me for Christmas and I can’t even put into words how excited I was when I opened it! First of all, I have an obsession with Shasta campers. I just think they are the cutest thing. My Mom and sister have been working on this quilt since July. Each camper represents either a holiday or something about me – flamingos, theatre, OU Sooners, music, dogs, Disney, candy, and even my favorite color Tiffany Blue. It’s absolutely gorgeous in person. It’s the perfect length (you know what I’m talking about – throw blankets are NEVER long enough to cover your feet). I know how much work went into this quilt and it is just SO special that I just had to share it with you. Don’t you just LOVE it?

You take care of yourself. I don’t know if germs can transfer via You Tube lol:)
Love the quilt! Have you considered getting connected with a Vintage Camping group? We attended rallies with our 1972 Avion Motivator. When we were no longer able to pour money into itS upkeep and sold it, we couldn’t camp at rallies but still are in FB groups and could visit rallies with Open Houses to view all of the cool campers. Every Vintage camper has a story!
Rest and keep drinking those hot beverages!
Oh that is just so lovely and what a special gift to have.
My Mother made me a patchwork bedspread when I was 16,at the time I thought it was the worst present ever….but oh how I think now it is just the best thing a Mother could give as each square is from clothes I had..bridesmaid dress etc…it’s now a bedspread of memories and priceless as is yours Connie.
Helen x
Yeah, we’re not the smartest when we’re 16 years old, are we. The quilt sounds SO special!

Dear Connie: I’m so very sorry you’re sick, this darn bug is indeed making it’s rounds, I just got over it, it took about 17 days, ughhh!! I still have that nagging tickle in my chest but the stuffiness, the coughing, the chest congestion are gone, thank God!!
Just rest my dear and let this thing run it’s course, taking cough medicine helps, especially at night so you can sleep. Take it easy and cuddle up under that gorgeous quilt which I’m sure will help you recover quickly since it was made with tons of love.
Thank you for the link to your Tuesday’s tips, I don’t often have the chance to check out your posts and most times I do it at night before I go to sleep.
I’m sending prayers for a quick and complete recovery.
XO
Maria.
