As you know, I was honored to be asked to be on Santa’s Little Elves design team.  We each created a project to share with you each Friday until Christmas.

I love the Christmas Quilt bundle!!!  This is one of those bundles that I will use all year long.

The silver foil in this project makes it shine against that beautiful Old Olive plaid!

Are you ready to create it yourself?  I have a complete tutorial for you, courtesy of Santa’s Little Elves!  Just take your mobile device to your stamp space and create from here OR you can download the tutorial to save for later.

My heart is so happy today!  We went to Ginny’s high school choir concert last night and it was such a blessing.  Ginny is in Show Choir and this is no ordinary show choir.  This choir works closely with some of the special needs kids each day, teaching them to love and appreciate music.  Most of them are non-verbal but BOY can they dance and smile!  The ones that are verbal sing with so much gusto, you melt!  If that doesn’t warm your heart, I don’t know what will.  What a wonderful concert watching these precious kids perform for us.  Standing ovation from the audience!

Ginny has a BIG heart for these kids and created a new program at her school called Moore Applause (Moore High School).  It’s a kid’s musical where their special friends are the STAR and the show choir kids are their shadow.  Ginny wanted these kids to know that feeling of being on stage, being the star of the show, hearing the applause, and that sense of pride in a performance.  The show choir kids are shadowing them in case they need help but the show is truly about them.  What Ginny didn’t expect was how her special friends blessed her. I am so proud of all the show choir kids and their love for their special friends.

I would LOVE to share photos or a video from last night but I’m not allowed to (privacy issues) but I will share what I can when the musical takes place in December.SaveSave
