Creative Juice – Week #46: I just love today’s layout. It’s a layout I use quite often because it’s clean and simple. It just lends itself perfectly with so many of my stamps. You can create a window with this layout OR just add a layered focal image.

Each week I serve up a big glass of CREATIVE JUICE to get your creative juices flowing.  Let me share this week’s card inspiration.

• Get creative with your color combinations.  
• The squares can be any shape you wish and go anywhere you wish! Have fun with it!

I mentioned yesterday that Ginny had a couple of doctor appointments yesterday and so I wanted to give you the update. You guys have been so sweet to check up on her and pray for her.

There is good news and bad news. First, the bad news… it is what it is. At this point, the only option is surgery and the surgeon is fearful to do surgery on her when she has no pain. I totally agree. A little more potential bad news…. she may need constructive surgery when she’s in her 40’s but I’m not going to worry about that right now. Who knows what advances in modern medicine will be around in 25 years?

The good news… she has great range of motion in her jaw so she can eat as normal and she will learn to relax her neck so she can get back to singing again. Basically, her body will learn to live with this. The only time you know there is something wrong is when she drops her jaw all the way down, like when she yawns. I think we can live with that.

At least now we have an answer. The procedure she had done a few weeks ago was 100% necessary to remove the excess fluid in the joint but it seems as if her jaw is just happy to be out of place. Who knows? Maybe one day it will just go back? 

We have one last appointment on Monday to do a little work on the retainer that she is wearing (the surgery she had moved her jaw around so they need to make it fit better). Other than that, X-rays every 6 months to make sure there is no change. No change is good change.
