Did you catch the debut of Simple Simple Stamping Live on Facebook Wednesday? We had a ton of fun stamping together. I wish I had the opportunity to give all 140 of you a shout-out and a big THANK YOU for tuning in! Thank you for making my first Live event so enjoyable.
We created some great cards together too!
I promised I would share the presentation so if you weren’t able to attend live, you could still play along.
As you watch the video, keep in mind this was filmed LIVE, mistakes and all. I am stamping cards from start to finish. I know that most of you enjoy the fact that I keep my videos under 8 minutes or so but this video is an actual night of stamping. Also, you will hear me respond to comments and things. That feature is only available when the video is live but if you have questions, just leave me a comment here on my blog. I will answer them as quickly as I can.
I hope you enjoy the video! Grab yourself a coffee, tea, or soda and check it out!

It’s a sad day today…..Christina is packing to go back to college tomorrow. We have had the BEST summer together and I am really sad that today is our last day. We walked or biked together just about every single day. What will I do without my accountablity partner? I am going to have to get myself on a set schedule because she was my motivator.
This is her Senior year, although she has 3 semesters left. She is double majoring in Theatre Education and Directing so she needed to add a semester for her student teaching. But it’s still Senior year!!! She’s pretty excited about that.
Christina is a Resident Assistant (RA) in her building so she gets to move in early but she has training all next week so it will be a busy time until classes start. The best part about being a Senior and an RA is that she gets the BIG room and she gets it all to herself. This Mom thinks the best part about her daughter being an RA is that her room is PAID FOR!
I sure appreciate you watching today’s video! I hope you enjoyed the “live” aspect of it.
Hope you all have a fabulous weekend! Enjoy it! See ya back here on Monday!

Love your video!!! I use scotch tape on my ribbon. I want to make sure it holds. I send alot of cards for the military folks to write home and want to make sure the ribbon doesn’t come apart. I also go over the tape when I put adhesive on the back of the paper to apply it to the next layer.
Connie,
It was amazing to see how graciously you handled every aspect of your vulnerability during this new aspect of making us feel like were just socializing with you, talking about all things Stampin’ Up! The best part was seeing you genuinely smile at us, like we were having a cup of tea together! To sum it up, you aced your first live tutorial!
A Hawaii girl living in New Zealand
Thanks so much Donna! I appreciate that!
I use it too but I get a lot of comments from viewers who aren’t fans of using tape on a card.
Your awesome
No, you are! Thanks for the compliment. You’re sweet. ?
I just watched your video. It was wonderful! I will have to try the alcohol in my cheap store bought aqua painters.
Love loved the live video! You always are real but seeing you work through little glitches with adventure and a smile was great! The team approach with you focusing on the demo and Christina reading comments was also great! Can you find a “replacement” for her when you do other live videos? Can’t wait to try these techniques:)
It’s a good thing I have 2 daughters. Instant backup! ?
OMG CONNIE, I absolutely loved the live video!!!! I didn’t see it live, but just watched it. You are so cute and funny.
You did a great job as always. I loved the cards you made and will be trying them OF COURSE!!
I look forward to your videos and tips, etc. My wish list is sooooooooooooooooo long!! lol
Thank you for being the bestest demonstrator out there.
Kathy Ward :):):)
Kathy, you just made my day! Thanks so much!!
Like the storage behind you. My major problem is punch storage. How do you store your punches?
Vicci, if you will go to the Categories section on my site and look for Craft Room Makeover. I have a video on my craft room and I talk about my punch storage.
Great job on the video it was a lot of fun to watch and the cards were amazing.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Dianne!
Thank you. Love the tips. Carolyn Cadet from California
I appreciate you watching!
Thank you for sharing and always giving us great ideas for cards. I always enjoy watching and and love to recreate the cards.
I love hearing that Kelly!
Such a fine demonstration today. I would like to use the technique. I need to put it on Pinterest for reference. Is that possible? I don’t plan to sell the designs. Thank you for any help you can provide.
Sure Jane! At the bottom of the post is the PINTEREST button. Just click it and you can pin it. 🙂 Thank you!!!!
Thanks for sharing and yes is cool—thanks–Ohio, New Middletown
I didn’t see the video live but will certainly try and catch the next live performance. Love the water coloring. I’m afraid to try but will definitely try using alcohol. I’ve had the aqua painters forever and never used them. All your cards were gorgeous!!! Love your enthusiasm.
Practice on some scrap paper first, or even copy paper just to get a feel for it.
I am new at “painting” and was having a hard time. Thanks for much for telling us to us alcohol. Will be trying it tonight. Loved the video and all the cards. Great colors that I would not have put together on one card.
Thanks Chazz!
I do not have any love buttons………….
Sorry, Rita… the love and like buttons were on the live video only. After its been recorded, they are unavailable.
I missed the live but I loved the video. Super cards & tips. Thanks for all that you share.
I loved your first live video. I didn’t watch it live because of the time difference (I’m in Australia). The video was awesome and I will definitely be using the method on my cards. I see simple Christmas cards by this method. Thanks so much.
It would be pretty for a Christmas card!
Connie so sorry I wasn’t able to make it live but you did a great job. CONGRATS on your 1st real live Facebook.
This video is really great and love the tips offered. I do not have face book so was unable to watch you live. I sure would have been there with you watching if I could have.
I am just thank full that you made the video so I can now watch it.
I will always share the Live events. ?
